Across the street from the beach, your cozy getaway awaits in Carolina Beach at this great 1954 cottage. 1200SF, with 2 bedrooms featuring a queen bed in master and 2 full beds in the other, along with 2 bathrooms with showers, and enclosed porch with queen sleeper sofa and additional dining table, this property is perfect for a small group of guests. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like W/D, WiFi and dedicated golf cart charger (if you rent one) during your stay. And no stairs or elevator inside the house (1 step outside). Fall in love with Carolina Beach/Kure Beach and enjoy the magic it has to offer. Walk across the street to 2 beach accesses 1 minute away. Beach cart and gear provided. Also pet friendly up to 2 dogs. Contact me for approval if more. Private fenced back yard with separate side door, Gas Grill, Outdoor table to seat 6, additional chairs, and lighted patio, outdoor shower. Off-street parking for up to 3 cars in front of house. Great location just off Carolina Beach! Tons of amenities within this cottage including two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a large all-season porch and a private patio area. This is our second time staying at this property and we will definitely be back!

Very comfortable house with ample beach and bath towels. Location and ease of parking can’t be beat! Communication with host was super fast. I’ll be back!

Cathy is a great hos & very helpful. The location of this house is exceptional & the privacy fence is perfect for dogs. The house is an older beach house, but it was very clean and the main bedroom was plenty of space for the pack & play for the baby!

Location and charm! If you are looking for a classic beach cottage with all the quirks this is it! Across the street from two public beach access points (Texas and Alabama) with Atlantic Towers directly across the street. The PERFECT location for those who appreciate easy walking distance to it all. Including the famous “Tiki Bar”. Best part? Dogs allowed! The linens and blankets were new, clean, and super comfy. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels in both bedrooms and the living room. Both bedrooms are roomy and have a full bath.The kitchen has everything you need and clean modern appliances. This classic cottage is well maintained and is clearly cherished by the host/owners who are super responsive and local. Cool fact - the island table in the kitchen was used in the John Travolta/Vince Vaughn thriller, Domestic Disturbance! Highly recommend for beach loving travelers looking for a cozy place by the ocean.

Beach cottage

The property is in a great spot and the house is adorable. When we arrived the floors were filthy and we swept up piles of dirt. The outdoor shower was in pieces and didn’t work. The beds weren’t comfortable and were covered in old plastic mattress covers. When I left a message to the host about the dirt and shower I received no response.

This was right during a storm and 5 days of rain. So yes, the shower was broken from that. My cleaners were there that morning and no one else has a key. So I am sure the dirt was not there. But people have done this before, mainly at our CO cabin. What I don't understand is, the cleaners are only a few min away. But people always contact me AFTER they claim they have cleaned all of this themselves. When I would have paid the cleaners to do it in 15 min.

21st Bday

This property was absolutely beautiful and stunning! I live in Wilmington already but my mom was in town to help me celebrate my birthday and we are beach lovers and I decided to rent this cottage and it fulfilled everything that was posted on VRBO. When we woke up, the beach was right across the street and when we wanted to explore it was just close enough to see great restaurants and shops. When I needed to get in contact with Cathy, she was quick to respond and helpful. If you are looking for an easy-going perfect getaway with a kind and helpful host This is the perfect spot for you! I'm originally from Southern Indiana, then Raleigh as of 1999. My son and I live in Carolina Beach now full time. Have had houses here (including rentals) since 2002. Currently this is the only weekly rental I am managing. I've owned it since last Spring. Originally we had a property manager but I took it over myself last Nov in order to provide better service to guests. (It was managed privately by the previous owners), And we have a lot of repeat guests so we want to keep that up.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This house is in an ideal location right between Carolina Beach and Kure Beach/Ft Fisher. So short walk across the street to the beach (2 accesses) and a quick drive to either town to enjoy the restaurants/shops, parks, and festivals. 5-8 min drive to the Aquarium and Ferry to Southport. Although on the main road, the house is set back off the road and feels private and cozy.

Location, dog friendly with fenced yard, One story/ground floor. Parking for 3 cars in front of house. House has nice gathering places including kitchen island (from a movie set!), living room, enclosed sun porch with queen sleeper sofa and dining table, and large outdoor space with dining table + other chairs.
