Host is very good, I appreciated the communication. Neighbors were loud unfortunately. Recommend more toilet paper, we nearly ran out. Handtoweis in the bathroom would have also been a good addition. Clean and was suitable for one night.

Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights. Price point was great and it was centrally located. It does need to be noted that there is street parking only, that being said we did not have a problem with parking while there. It should also be noted that this is a 2nd floor apartment with steep narrow stairs. The apartment is cooled by several window units which were not on when we arrived, it did take a little while to cool down but once it did we were comfortable the rest of our time there. Overall cleanliness was good with plenty of towels and sheets available. Kitchen was stocked with essentials & bathroom had some items available as well. We didn't even see the downstairs tenants until our last night there, didn't hear them at all until we were heading out. Overall it was a pleasant stay and worked well for our needs.

Cozy, Clean Apartment

My friend and I spent one night in this cozy, clean apartment. It is an older building, but the kitchen has been updated and the decor is lovely. The pictures in the listing were accurate, as was the description. One key piece of information should be noted, that this is a second floor apartment with narrow stairs leading up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Easy and clear instructions for check in. Stairs are a little steep, that could be something worth knowing beforehand. Appartment was pretty clean and comfortable. Kitchen could use more cooking essentials. Each room has its own ac unit which made for a comfotabke stay. Did not have access to knifes or scissors. Neighborhood was pretty calm. Street parking is a little tight but parking is available behind the building.

Emily was responsive to questions and accommodating when I needed to change and add an extra night. Check in was very easy. Parking was actually on the property. The apartment itself was very cute and very clean. The bedroom for my two young granddaughters was great. They loved the Mario Brothers decor. There was only one towel in the bathroom, and when I looked in one of the closets, I didn't see any others, but of course, when I was about to check out, I found a stack in another closet. The only issue I had was the neighborhood in general. Thehouses are close together. The street is narrow and when we arrived, there were tons of cars parked on the street which made getting into the driveway, a little difficult. The yard for both houses on either side were not well maintained and had trash overflowing in their yards. Overall the experience was good and I would reserve this property again

This rental was in a bad area of Cincinnati. Upon arrival we felt like we were in the ghetto. The apartment house was very old & surrounding houses and apartment buildings were old & run down. As soon as we opened our car doors we could smell marijuana really strong because neighbors were smoking it on their porches & the kids who lived in the downstairs apartment literally followed us up the stairs that led to the apartment we had paid to stay in. We went inside just to see if the inside was as bad as the outside and those kids started knocking on the door telling us we needed to move our car. We had only parked there long enough to check out the apt. After making all these observations we decided there was no way we could stay there and feel safe! We were extremely uncomfortable & felt as though if we would have stayed our car would have likely been broken into or worse. We felt uncomfortable & unsafe in large part by the way the neighbors were staring at us like we for sure didn't belong in their neighborhood. I called the host first because I couldn't get the keybox code to work & told her I didn't feel safe staying in her rental & she pushed me to tell her specifically what made it unsafe & I tried to explain but she just said we had no reason to feel as uncomfortable & unsafe as we did. I've been staying in short-term rentals for the past 8 yrs & never had one be so misrepresented as being a charming place to stay. I now know why the pics only showed the front door & in

Hi Sarina, You had a problem with the property before you even arrived. There were many questions and speculations months before your arrival date. It was your job to make it a hard time, and gauging from our messages beforehand, I saw this coming. I believe you wanted a free stay, and I apologize I couldn’t grant you that. I was relieved once you left because I couldn’t take the racist comments you were making. I’m truly glad you were able to find other accommodations as this type of behavior is not what our team supports.

Host was responsive. Property clean and nicely decorated. Parking was less than ideal, as well as the neighborhood. There is street parking only as the tenants in other apartment parked in driveway making it impossible to park in rear of building. When we arrived the apartment was uncomfortably warm. It took several hours to cool it down with the window units. One night it got cool outside, the heat started and even with the vents closed, it became uncomfortable. Upon searching the apartment, we realized there was not a thermostat to adjust. Overall, it was a good value.
