À propos de cet hébergement

Asheville Hilltop with Blue Ridge Views, Hot Tub, Game Room + Fire Pit, 3BR, ...

Leaf season in Asheville is a five-week window, and this hilltop was built for it. From the great room's wall of windows, you watch the Blue Ridge Mountains turn from green to gold to crimson, and after dark the city lights of Asheville flicker in the distance below. Your group of 8 gets a private, single-level home with a hot tub under the stars, a gas fire pit ringed by eight Adirondack chairs, and a dedicated game room for the hours after sunset, all ten minutes from downtown Asheville.

WHY GROUPS PICK ASTER RIDGE FOR FALL

Aster Ridge sits alone on a scenic hilltop surrounded by a natural wildlife habitat, which means no shared walls, no shared yard, and nothing between your morning coffee and the ridgeline. In October that view does something new every single day. The house itself reflects Asheville's creative, artful character: vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, a vintage record player, and eclectic decor collected with intention rather than ordered from a catalog.

This is a true three-generation layout. Grandparents get a king suite with a private bath and deck access. Parents get a second king room with mountain views. Kids or the second wave of adults get a room with two queen beds. Everyone gets a Roku TV, and nobody fights over the bathroom thanks to two full baths with walk-in showers.

THE GREAT ROOM: FRONT ROW TO THE COLOR

The open-concept living area is the heart of the house, with vaulted ceilings and windows that frame the mountains like a painting that repaints itself all season. Sink into the comfortable seating with a book on a rainy fall afternoon, drop a record on the vintage player, or warm up by the indoor fireplace when the evenings turn crisp. A dedicated workspace with fast WiFi is here too, for anyone stretching a long weekend into a work-from-the-mountains week.

THE KITCHEN AND THREE PLACES TO EAT

The fully equipped kitchen handles a real group dinner without elbowing. Stainless steel refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, plus the tools that actually matter: cooking basics, baking sheets, a blender, a rice maker, wine glasses, and barbecue utensils for the flat stone grill outside. The coffee station is stocked with a Keurig, a French press, and a hot water kettle, along with a selection of coffee.

When the food is ready you have three options: the formal wood dining table that seats all eight, the kitchen bar with four stools for casual breakfasts and chatting with the cook, or the outdoor patio chairs where dinner comes with a mountain view and sweater-weather air.

THE BEDROOMS: ROOM FOR EVERYONE TO SPREAD OUT

Primary suite: King bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, work desk, private coffee station, deck access, ceiling fan, and Roku TV. Wake up, open the curtains, and check the day's color from bed.

Bedroom two: King bed with mountain views, deck access, ceiling fan, and Roku TV.

Bedroom three: Two queen beds, ceiling fan, and Roku TV. Heads up for packers: this room has no clothing storage, so garment bags and suitcases work best here.

Extra pillows, blankets, fresh linens, room-darkening shades, and a pack-and-play and high chair for the youngest travelers are all provided.

THE GAME ROOM: WHERE FALL EVENINGS GO LONG

Sunset comes early in October, and this is where your group will land after it does. The dedicated game room is stocked like a small arcade:

Pool table for tournament nights

Sit-down Pac-Man arcade machine for two

Multi-game arcade table loaded with retro classics

Regulation dartboard

Shuffleboard table

Air hockey table for fast-paced showdowns

Board games and books for the quieter players

Next to it, the movie lounge features a 72 inch smart TV and plush seating, so half the group can watch the game while the other half runs the pool table. Log into your own streaming accounts on any of the Roku TVs throughout the house.

OUTSIDE: THE PART YOU CAME FOR

HOT TUB UNDER THE STARS: Soak with a view of the valley after a day of hiking the Parkway. Mountain air, steam, stars. This is the moment people book fall trips for.

GAS FIRE PIT WITH EIGHT ADIRONDACK CHAIRS: Seating for your entire group, s'mores, and genuinely dark skies for stargazing.

EGG SWINGS ON THE DECK: Float out over a valley full of changing color with your morning coffee. The most photographed spot on the property.

CORNHOLE: Sweater-weather tournaments on the lawn.

BASKETBALL COURT IN THE DRIVEWAY: Shoot hoops in the crisp mountain air on the flat driveway court, with basketballs provided. It is the perfect way for kids to burn off energy before dinner, and it has a way of turning into a friendly two-on-two rematch nobody planned on. Bring your competitive streak; the ball is already waiting.

FLAT STONE BBQ GRILL: Grill dinner while the sun drops behind the ridge.

EV CHARGER: Located in the converted garage just off the driveway. Bring your vehicle's cable and charge overnight instead of hunting for a station on a busy leaf-season weekend.

BRING THE DOG

Up to two dogs (35 pounds max each) are welcome for a fee of $150 per pet. The wooded hilltop gives them plenty to sniff, and pet bowls, waste bags, and cozy nap spots are provided. The yard is not fenced, so leashes are recommended outdoors. Dogs should stay off beds and furniture and be crated if left alone in the house. The Pet fee goes toward any extra cleaning that may be needed due to the pet hair, not for any pet damage.

THE LOCATION: ASHEVILLE'S FALL, ALL AROUND YOU

Aster Ridge sits in a quiet residential neighborhood on the west side of Asheville, positioned almost perfectly between downtown and the best foliage drives in the eastern United States.

DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE (10 minutes): Galleries, street art, the Pinball Museum, locally owned boutiques, and the South Slope Brewery District with more craft taprooms per block than almost anywhere in the country.

WEST ASHEVILLE (11 minutes): The city's culinary heart. Neng Jr.'s, The Admiral, Sunny Point Cafe, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack are all worth the trip.

BILTMORE ESTATE (15 minutes): America's largest privately owned home, with gardens and grounds that are at their best in fall. Book morning tickets to beat the October crowds.

RIVER ARTS DISTRICT (15 minutes): Working artist studios and galleries along the French Broad River.

ASHEVILLE OUTLETS AND FARMERS MARKET (15 minutes): Designer shopping and local produce, cheeses, and crafts.

BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY VISITOR CENTER (20 minutes): The starting point for America's most famous fall drive. Overlooks typically peak mid to late October.

NORTH CAROLINA ARBORETUM (20 minutes): 434 acres of gardens and hiking trails with spectacular seasonal displays.

CRAGGY GARDENS (25 minutes): Higher elevation means the color arrives here first. A favorite for photographers.

ZEN TUBING AND FRENCH BROAD RAFTING (25 to 30 minutes): Float or paddle the French Broad River while the banks change color.

PISGAH NATIONAL FOREST (30 minutes): 500,000 acres of trails, waterfalls, and overlooks, including Looking Glass Falls.

ASHEVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT (25 minutes): An easy drive for fly-in guests. Uber and Lyft operate reliably throughout the area.

PERFECT FOR

Multigenerational family leaf-season trips

Friend groups splitting a fall getaway

Couples traveling together for a Biltmore weekend

Families with kids who need a game room when the sun sets early

Dog owners who refuse to leave the dog home for the best weekend of the year

Remote workers stretching a long weekend with the dedicated workspace

Small celebrations, anniversaries, and birthday weekends

GUEST ACCESS AND CHECK-IN

The entire home is yours. Check-in is self-service through a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule, even after a long day on the Parkway. Your Superhost team is available by message throughout your stay and known for fast responses; guests rate communication a perfect 5.0 across 84 reviews, with a 4.99 overall rating.

GOOD TO KNOW

Free parking on the property for multiple vehicles. Street parking is not permitted per HOA rules, to keep emergency access clear.

The driveway is steep. If a late-fall cold snap brings ice or snow, park on the lower portion of the driveway and walk up. AWD or 4WD is helpful in winter conditions.

The primary renter must be 25 or older and present during the stay. No parties or events, and no smoking anywhere on the property.

Two exterior security cameras cover the driveway and entry points. There are no cameras inside.

A signed rental agreement is required before check-in, and a limited damage waiver is included with the cleaning fee for accidental damage. ID verification is required and a 3rd party may collect your ID but it isn't stored and is immediately deleted.

The hot tub cover has safety straps that should stay locked when not in use.

Fall weekends in Asheville sell out early, and refunds follow the cancellation policy in place when you book, so travel insurance is a smart add for peace of mind.

Watch the mountains change color from the hot tub, the egg swings, and two of the three bedrooms. Play pool while dinner finishes on the grill. Fall in Asheville is short, and the best hilltops go first. Check your dates and book your leaf-season escape at Aster Ridge.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Our home is located in an upscale residential neighborhood, and we kindly ask all guests to be respectful of our neighbors at all times. Parties and prolonged loud outdoor noise are not permitted.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.

Cancellation Policy: We follow the cancellation policy in place at the time you booked, as shown in your confirmation. If there is any chance you may need to cancel, we recommend purchasing travel insurance at checkout. Refunds are not provided outside the booked policy for weather, illness, or travel disruptions.

Amazing views

The property is very bright, modern and has incredible Mountain View’s. Kids enjoyed the game room. Communication with the host was always prompt. No real issues with the property, only wish there were more places to eat close by. It’s about 10-15 mins to downtown Asheville.
