And our cabin is right across the street (short walk) from Garwood Orchards, featuring a pumpkin patch, apple picking, tractor rides, farm market, and various other U-pick produce through October!

Escape to our serene and spacious log cabin on 5 private wooded acres near La Porte and Indiana Dunes. This two-story retreat blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Unwind in the cozy living area, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, or work from the lofted office space. The cabin features three bedrooms with flexible sleeping options. Enjoy the forested grounds, fire pit, open field, and orchard next door. Just 25 minutes from Indiana Dunes and Lake Michigan, it's a perfect peaceful getaway.

The cabin is an inviting getaway, offering a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, perfect for relaxing in nature's embrace.

Living Area: The main living space features vaulted ceilings, a large TV, and a comfortable seating area. The stone fireplace adds warmth and a welcoming ambiance, ideal for cozy nights in.

Kitchen: Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including new appliances and plenty of counter space. It's great for group cooking and enjoying time together.

Bedrooms: The cabin offers three bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements. The main floor includes a queen bedroom with a log frame bed and a desk, as well as a bunk room with a full bed, twin bed, and trundle, making it perfect for families. Upstairs, the large primary bedroom provides a queen bed and private bathroom.

Bathrooms: There are two full bathrooms, both with stand up showers. The upstairs bathroom (attached to primary bedroom) features a large 2 person soaking tub.

Lofted Office Space: The loft area includes a small office with a desk setup, ideal if you need to work or study during your stay.

Outdoor Areas: Outside, the cabin boasts plenty of space for relaxation and activities. Guests can enjoy a fire pit for gathering, a large field for outdoor games, and serene wooded areas. The property also has a covered indoor back porch as well as an open air front porch, both perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. A family-owned orchard is located just across the street, with seasonal U-pick produce and a farmers marketplace.

Parking: The cabin features a two-car garage and additional parking space, providing plenty of room for multiple vehicles.
