I chose to be a VRBO host because I love the feeling of being on vacation and wanted to create a space where others can experience that same sense of relaxation and escape. Having been raised Amish, I grew up valuing hard work and have worked as a carpenter with my family since graduating from 8th grade. Over the years, Iâve come to appreciate the importance of balancing work with time for rest, and I feel blessed to have been able to travel with my family for vacations each year. Hosting allows me to share that joy of a peaceful retreat with others.
