Begin in the dedicated yoga space, swim in one of the area's few saltwater pools, then sink into the oversized hot tub as the evening cools. The primary's soaking tub has desert views of its own. Three king bedrooms, a table for eight, and nothing you need to rush.



The Space:

Zendo House follows the principles of Wabi Sabi design, celebrating natural textures, organic materials and understated elegance. Warm wood tones, stone surfaces and clean architectural lines create a calm atmosphere, and large windows frame the desert while filling the home with light. Three king bedrooms share two full bathrooms, including a primary ensuite with a soaking tub, and a game room lounge and yoga space give everyone a place of their own. Generous gathering spaces inside and out suit family dinners, quiet mornings and evenings around the fire pit, for guests who come for adventure, creativity or wellness. Roll out a mat, take a breath, and begin there.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The backyard has one of the area's few saltwater pools, along with an oversized in-ground hot tub for soaking after a day in Joshua Tree National Park. Native desert landscaping and iconic Joshua Trees surround the property, which feels private and expansive while staying close to town. Lounge poolside, share a meal at the outdoor table for eight or gather around the large fire pit. The dedicated yoga space, with six mats provided, is set up for morning movement or meditation, and clear desert skies make sunsets and stargazing a nightly event. The yard is not fully fenced, so the desert landscape stays part of the view.



-Living Area-

The living room is open and inviting, with comfortable seating, desert views and large windows that fill it with natural light. After a day of hiking or browsing local shops, stream a show on the smart TV or play music throughout the home on the Sonos system. Minimalist Wabi Sabi furnishings keep the space calm while leaving plenty of room for a group.



-Game Room-

The game room lounge is a second place to gather, with an oversized sectional in front of a large smart TV and an air hockey table for friendly competition or a movie night after a day in the desert. Its own mini-split AC keeps it cool year-round.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the home, with stone countertops, modern appliances and a large serving window that opens directly to the patio. Nonstick cookware, bakeware, serving dishes and glassware are all provided, and coffee lovers can choose between a drip coffee maker, French press, grinder and electric kettle. An extra wine and beverage fridge keeps drinks cold. The dining area seats eight and flows into both the living room and the outdoor dining space, which suits shared meals and celebrations.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

All three bedrooms have a king gel memory foam mattress and a smart TV. The primary suite has direct access to the pool area and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub with desert views. The second bedroom has a large closet, and the third is a quiet, restful room.

There are two full bathrooms: the primary ensuite and a hall bathroom that serves the other two bedrooms.

Joshua Tree is known for its dramatic desert scenery and creative spirit. From Zendo House, days can be spent hiking among massive rock formations and exploring desert trails in the national park. The towns of Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms offer local cafés, art galleries, vintage shops, live music and restaurants, along with sound baths, guided hikes, rock climbing and horseback riding. Mountain ranges and Joshua Trees frame the open landscape in every direction.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that there are a few supply closets that are locked that house supplies for the rental.
