We had a lovely time in this cozy cottage by the waterway and minutes from the beach. Easy walking distance, great location for sunsets and sunrises. We brought our puppy and she had ample space to roam outdoors. We cooked some meals and had a great time reconnecting together as a family.

Beautiful house gorgeous views

Great location on very quiet street. Gorgeous views off the deck and from the private pier that goes 600’ out into the bay. House was very clean and well supplied. Everything is as described. The host Iriene is very responsive and super friendly she had treats and toys waiting for our dachshunds when we arrived!!! Restaurants and stores are all nearby and the beach is a short walk away. The town of Southport is 20 minutes away for more nice shops and restaurants as well definitely worth a visit. Very highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Jon & Kim

This is a very quaint home to stay in for a long weekend. The bedroom with the daybed does not have air conditioning so not a room to be considered a bedroom during the summer. There is a ceiling and floor fan, but it is still too hot to sleep in. The kitchen does not have a toaster. The railing going along the steps to enter the home is loose and needs to be reinforced. The garbage can and recyclable were 3/4 full so after bringing our garbage down were fill to the top. The house was very clean and had most of the incidentals you would need. It was very quiet and serene.

Oak Island Vacation

We stayed June 30 - July 5. The house was very clean, stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet. Will consider for next Oak island trip. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing and accommodating

Me and my family stayed here for my wedding on the beach! The host was amazing and accommodating! She was very responsive to our needs and checked on us often. I would highly recommend staying! It was clean, located close to the beach, and several restaurants. The view at night is beautiful. I would like to thank the host for being understanding and amazing! You helped our stay be one to remember!

Peaceful retreat!!

Cute cottage with beautiful view of marsh and waterway! Host very helpful!! Sully, family dog loved the walks, outside in the yard, and resting on the porch! Perfect spot for a couple, and walking distance to ocean. Hope to return!!
