Adorable & Quiet -Under 15 min to Downtown & Beach
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Nestled in a safe and communal neighborhood, this cute house has everything from a designated workspace to a playhouse in the backyard making it perfect for families and working travelers alike.
This adorable home in Savannah has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom features 1 king bed, while the second bedroom has 1 queen bed (with a trundle) and lastly there is a futon that folds out in the living room. With 2 bathrooms offering a shower, bathtub, extra toiletries and hair dryer, guests will feel right at home.
Nearby:
Half-way between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island beach--and conveniently just off of 80 E--you can easily spend sunrise on the beach and then hop downtown for lunch and shopping or a Bananas game! Pls note: Quiet hrs are between 10 PM-7 AM. On the island, within three miles of our home, you can find: Kroger, Publix, Walmart, gas stations, liquor stores, restaurants, Rita's Italian ice, Bogeys bar and mini golf, Davis Produce, and so much more!
The space:
This property is not too big and not too small..in fact at 1/3 of an acre, it's just right. Located on the peaceful and safe Talahi Island, the neighborhood is perfect for a 5k run or bike ride; solo or with the family!
The open layout of the home includes two rooms, two bathrooms, a full size living room, kitchen, laundry room, and an adorable screened in patio out back.
The bedrooms each include:
-TV
-Full Length mirror
-Place to hang and store clothes and suitcases
The master: king bed and cozy reading nook
Second bedroom: queen that has a trundle bed underneath (the size of a twin XL), and dedicated working space.
The living room:
-Velvet couch that folds out to a futon
-Playable piano
-70" TV
-buffet that is chock full of games and puzzles
The Kitchen:
-Everything you need for a nice, home-cooked meal, and impulse you may get to bake some cookies.
-if there is something that you need that you weren't able to find, please let us know!
The Laundry Room:
-Washer/dryer
-Laundry detergent/stain remover
-Beach supplies; towels, sunscreen, beach toys, beach chair and umbrella
-hooks for drying towels or clothes
-hanging rod for drying
-iron (located next to the washer), fold down ironing board hanging on the back of the door.
1.5 miles away there is a YMCA connected to the Whitemarsh Preserve that boasts miles of paved walking, running and biking trails, as well as unpaved mountain biking trails.
Just 15 min in either direction, you can either be dining downtown at Collin's Corner (one of our fav's!) or be resting in a beach chair with your toes in the sand. Don't forget to grab some sunscreen and beach supplies located in the laundry room :)
Guest access
Guests will be able to access the house in it's entirety *except* for the garage where there is maintenance storage. Please enjoy the patio and backyard playground at your leisure!
Other things to note
The property line ends at the back of the playground. Please do not venture beyond the small tree line onto the neighbor's front yard. If you do, you will be trespassing!
In efforts to be very clear, here is a list of our house rules!
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. We have a ring security camera on-site. Our exterior cameras record all activities. and we are able to see if people additional to your group come to the house. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund.
We run on septic. Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the septic clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.
NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE AT ALL: This includes e-cigarettes, marijuana, or vapors
NO Pets of any kind, no exceptions
NO Excessive guests: If you bring more people into the home than are listed in the reservation there is a $50 per person per each 24 hour period (or any portion thereof) fee. You agree to pay us this amount by accepting the house rules.
This is a NO shoes house. All shoes must be taken off at entry. There is a $10 fee per carpet/rug stain left in the home. Please understand this takes A LOT of extra time to clean.
***IMPORTANT*** Please make sure you read and comply with these rules:
**Please be courteous and clean up after yourself.
**Check-in is any time after 4PM Check out by 10AM Self check-in with Smart Door lock with individual code
**NO Mailing Packages to the home.
**No locals! Must live 45min+ outside of Savannah to book. This is in efforts to prevent parties.
**NO PARTYING of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10PM! There is a noise level city ordinance we do not want complaints! Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit retained. We must respect the peace of the community! Thank you.
**No person under the age of 18 are allowed in the home without an adult.
**A maximum of 2 vehicles allowed: Three in the driveway, one on the front lawn by the road.
PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING (Held against security deposit and claim will be filed with Airbnb)
**Stolen Items: $10 per towel, no matter the size.
**NO Smoking in the home: $150
**Late Checkout Past 10am without our consent. $75
**Excessive Guests than reservation. $50 per guest.
**Excessive Cleaning if place is left filthy with trash everywhere. $150
**Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $300
