Gosh.. where to start? This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The kitchen was well appointed with pots pans coffee, mugs, glasses, plastic glasses for the dock.. we ate in and prepared large meals five out of seven nights and we were able to find everything we needed. We picked blueberries in front of the house and had a blueberry pancake breakfast and I think that was a highlight for most everyone! Every bedroom had a few extra linens which we found very helpful. There were plenty of bath towels in every single bathroom as well as about a dozen beach towels for lakeside/boating use. Having four separate areas to gather (screened porch, open deck, family room inside and a cozy den inside) allowed for multigenerational use very comfortably. Between the kitchen the dining room and outside seating we were able to have large dinners without any seating problem. We had a couple hot/humid days and the A/C never failed us. The grill was clean and had plenty of propane in the tank. The dock, beachy area and covered boat slip were perfect for our needs. Lake views & breeze never got old and we enjoyed catching glimpses of the Mt. Washington cruising out in The Broads. Before during and after our visit, the host was easy and happy to communicate with us. We have already decided this house checked all the boxes and I can give it a five star rating for cleanliness, condition, charm, and proximity to the lake. Pictures don’t do it justice!! We hope to be yearly visitors.
