Détendez-vous, récupérez-vous et détendez-vous au Writers 'Refuge, un magnifique chalet de montagne isolé. C'est une occasion spectaculaire de profiter de tout ce que Deep Creek Lake a à offrir.

Que ce soit pour skier en hiver, faire du bateau en été ou admirer les couleurs changeantes de l’automne, Deep Creek Lake a quelque chose à offrir à toute la famille. Accès Internet inclus; les animaux de compagnie bien élevés sont toujours les bienvenus, sans frais supplémentaires. Notre cher laboratoire jaune a passé 14 ans à marcher avec nous autour de DCL. Nous chérissons ces souvenirs et comprenons que les membres de la famille à quatre pattes sont tout aussi importants que le reste des membres de notre famille.

Ce magnifique chalet de trois étages dispose de 4 chambres (2 avec lits queen, 1 avec lit double et 1 avec 2 lits jumeaux et un lit gigogne), 2 bains et est situé à 2 miles du lac Deep Creek et à 1,5 km de la station de ski WISP entrée.

Il est entièrement meublé à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur avec beaucoup de couettes et un mobilier très confortable. Admirez la vue depuis la terrasse sur les bois, détendez-vous devant le poêle à bois ou contemplez les étoiles depuis le bain à remous extérieur. Grillez et détendez-vous sur le grand pont arrière donnant sur les bois.

Le chalet se trouve à quelques minutes des magnifiques parcs d’État, notamment: Deep Lake Lake Park, Swallow Falls et Herrington Manor.

Les invités de Writers 'Refuge ont un accès gratuit à Deep Creek Fitness ... bon entraînement!

L'accès WIFI est inclus. Nous avons récemment surchargé la cuisine de nouveaux plats en poterie, casseroles / poêles, verres et articles de bar. Nous avons mis à niveau les appareils il y a quelques années avec tous les appareils en acier inoxydable et nous avons également mis à niveau la laveuse / sécheuse en acier inoxydable.

Cet été, nous avons ajouté une unité de climatisation portable au rez-de-chaussée et des ventilateurs de circulation dans chacune des chambres. Tout cela rend la maison très confortable pendant les jours et les nuits d'été.

Winter getaway

Very relaxing, comfortable hideaway

Wonderful property was everything we were hoping for. The location was great – very near to all the conveniences of town, but yet feeling very isolated and private. Communication was excellent.

Mountain & Deep Creek Lake Escape

Long weekend stay to enjoy mountains and lake activities. Beautiful rustic mountain home with plenty of space and privacy. Patty made trip and check-in process very easy. She provided great tips for activities nearby as well!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time during our stay! The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. Great location. Would recommend 4 wheel drive if the weather gets bad. Hope to be back!!

We are a family of writers and communicators based in Washington DC. Mom and Dad have been journalists since the late eighties...and there is a good chance that our son will follow in the family business. Writing is what we love to do. But it is also a deadline-intensive line of business. So every chance we get, we head for Deep Creek Lake and Writers' Refuge.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

It is a chalet-style house and we fell in love with it the minute we drove up the driveway. It was off the beaten path while still being convenient to all the best the area has to offer. You are five minutes away form the the lake and the slopes. Or you can just curl up with a book in bed...or on the deck...and get lost in the rustic surroundings.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The chalet is completely surrounded by the woods...away from all distractions. The views are gorgeous...especially at night...from the hot tub when you lean your head back on a starry night.
