Beaver Island - Cleveland's Big Chill

Take a front row seat to your very own sandy beachfront oasis. The possibilities for adventure and water activities are boundless. This beautiful beachfront is ideal for people of all ages! This extraordinary home boasts multiple deck levels that provide sweeping views of Lake Michigan, creating an ideal setting for gatherings. With generous windows spanning all three floors, this residence showcases spectacular views that will truly captivate you. The sunrises here are nothing short of enchanting! Cleveland’s Big Chill is the ideal spot for family and friends, offering space for up to 12 guests with a pet- friendly policy! This spacious 4-bedroom house includes 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 unique bunk beds (sleeps 3 each). The walk out basement feels like your own private apartment within the home, offering a separate space to relax. There are three bathrooms with showers (one on each level of the home), so there’s no waiting in line. Additionally, enjoy modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, TVs on every level, DVD player, Games, Washer and Dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen, among other fantastic features! Linens and bath towels are provided!

** Note ** There are TVs on all 3 levels of the home, but NO cable TV service. If you really want to stay inside, feel free to plug in your own Firestick, Roku, or Chromecast.

*** Enjoy a week's stay offering Saturday - Saturday turnovers!

During your stay, you have the freedom to explore the Island in different ways. Some visitors opt for biking or hiking, while others choose to reserve a spot for their vehicle on the Ferry/Beaver Island Boat Company. It's ADVISABLE to make these arrangements with the Boat Company WELL IN ADVANCE. Alternatively, renting a vehicle on the Island is just as convenient and hassle-free.

All trash must be placed in green bags and dropped off at the Transfer Station (on your way into town). One large green bag is provided for your use.
Remove all open food items from the kitchen and house (including pantry, refrigerator and freezer). Dispose of in green bags or take with you.

Our favorite family getaway

We have been staying at Cleveland’s Big Chill off and on for many years and it never disappoints. We love the beach access and quietness of the woods. Sarah is a great property manager and made sure our family was welcomed.

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The property provided a perfect environment for comfort, relaxation and quality family time. Great Experience!

We had a fantastic time at Cleveland’s Big Chill. Great house and location on the island. Right on the beach, easy swimming, and perfect for the kids. Sarah was a great host and very responsive. House had everything we needed and made our first trip to the island easy.

Cleveland's Big Chill was delightful place to stay. With 4 bedrooms, there was plenty of room for our family vacation. We were all together, but everyone had their own space. Waking up to a view of the sun coming up over Lake Michigan was amazing!Sarah, the host was responsive and answered all of my questions.One thing that I want to clarify for the next guests. I was concerned about the drinking water, thinking it was from a well. We brought water, but it really was not needed. The water was fine to drink, but it did have a slight tint because of the tannin in it. Overall it was a great stay.
