Host was very helpful in all ways. The house was an excellent condition and the pool area was especially beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped. The central location was excellent for visiting all of the major museums in Merida. parking the car was directly across the street.

The villa was so spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The filtered water system in the kitchen was a huge benefit. The pool area was peaceful and lovely. It was conveniently located close to Calle 47 (the restaurant street), the cathedral area and Paseo de Montejo. Excellent and timely communication with the hosts.

This is an excellent home in a location that is walkable to everything. We enjoyed the lovely patio every morning and would have enjoyed the pool had it not been January— a bit cool for the pool. The home has many small comforts that are often lacking in vacation rentals. Highly recommended.

Really an overwhelmingly nice place to stay. And honestly it feels like a longer stay would be even better than the 3 nights we had because we spent so much time out of the house running around and exploring. I would encourage anyone to be and to arrive during the designated check in hours. We got in pretty late and didn’t get an introduction to the appliances that didn’t work the way we are used to which was a bit of a struggle, but the hosts were able to send us a guide. Overall though an extremely comfortable and spacious place to stay and use as a home base for exploring the city and surrounding area.I will note that the pool as far as I can tell was not heated which I imagine would be great during hot summer nights but let us only using it during the day in our November/December stay.Also it is a great location to wander from we discovered city gatherings for the start of the Christmas season and closed streets for walking on Sundays by accident.

We love sailing; but you will find us most often on our small boat heading to one of the beaches along the Georgia coastline. We also spend a lot of time with each other and our dogs, as we work together and we have the pleasure of taking our pups with us to work.

Being able to share our home with guests is fun and rewarding. We have been to many cities throughout Mexico and find ourselves drawn to city life or serene beaches. Both have their benefits; and Casa Clasica helped us to achieve the being part of the vibrant culture and activities in Merida.
