It’s one of our favorite spaces as well and we’re so glad it added to your experience. We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding the rugs. Most of our homes are designed with rugs in the common areas such as living rooms and club spaces to add warmth and comfort. However, due to the high level of guest use and traffic in these areas, we do periodically remove them and have them laundered off site between stays to ensure we are maintaining the highest cleanliness standards possible. We always want guests to arrive to a home that feels fresh, clean, and well cared for, and at times that does mean prioritizing bare floors over the risk of worn or soiled rugs. We understand this can feel a bit less cozy underfoot, and we truly do our best to balance comfort with cleanliness while limiting any inconvenience to our guests.
