Détendez-vous et détendez-vous sur les canapés confortables dans le salon spacieux, en regardant vos émissions préférées sur la télévision à écran plat tout en vous blottissant contre le foyer au gaz pour rester au chaud pendant les mois les plus froids.

Avec un tel espace de vie ouvert, le chef du groupe peut également regarder la télévision dans le salon tout en préparant un délicieux chef-d'œuvre dans la cuisine entièrement équipée mise à jour, avec des comptoirs en granit. Pour savourer vos délicieux repas, choisissez entre vous asseoir autour de la grande table de la salle à manger ou vous rassembler à l'extérieur sur le pont, où il y a plus de sièges en plein air.

We loved the house. It had 4 rooms and 7 beds to accommodate 5 adults & 5 kids. It was cozy and very. spaicous.We brought our own food and saved money by cooking there. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware & bake/cookware for our family. It was easily located as our grandson was plaing in highschool basketball tournaments in the area.

Lovely place and wonderful hosts!

We booked this place for the first week of January (AKA second week of school break for the kids) as a place to return to during our attempts to teach our kids how to ski. The place was straightforward to find and they had ample signage all throughout with guidance on what to do and please what not to do. The hosts were very communicative and quickly answered our questions prior to our arrival. Given the weather conditions this past week, they let us check-in early (before 4 p.m.) and had even turned on the gas fireplace prior to our arrival! With the amount of snowfall the day prior to our departure date, they were also gracious enough to help with clearing the driveway and roadway of the fresh snowfall so we could make our way out safely. (For more normal snowfall amounts, they have a large number of shovels for guests to use as needed.) The place itself was extremely spacious, with comfortable couches and beds. With 2 families (including grandparents), we had more than enough room. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, dishes, utensils, spices, and pots and pans. The beds were very comfy and the HVAC heated the place with strength and consistency. We didn't take advantage of the upstairs hot tub / jacuzzi, only using it as a bath for the kids. Balancing the hot and cold water output was a bit tricky the first use (separate knobs for each). We look forward to returning here again! (I hope I read the rating system right - it should be the highest rating.)

Decent Stay

Cons: 1. The air inside the home felt dusty due to the carpet 2. AC was hard to use and there are no air vents upstairs so it was really hot at night 3. There are a lot of light switches in the living room that do not do anything so it was hard finding which switch goes to what light. All the lights are very dim also. 4. There was a dead, flat squirrel in one of the blankets on the couch 5. The bed downstairs is as firm as carpet floor 6. This home does not provide shampoo, lotion, etc so bring your own 7. Decors in the home are kind of creepy 8. The patio is not large as described, it's fairly small 9. The gas grill outside was useless. It wasn't strong enough for grilling raw food. We ended up using the oven and the skillet that we brought. 10. Very small garage (won't fit trucks) and parking is very limited. I recommend no more than 3 cars. Pros: 1. Keyless entry 2. Guest contacts were kind and allowed us to check in early 3. Guest contacts were responsive to text messages 4. There was enough beds for everyone 5. Spacious living room

Mai, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We have shared your feedback with the homeowner who requested to respond with the following: “I am so sorry that you had the issues you addressed in your review. We go to great efforts to make sure our home is both clean and in working condition. I wished you would have contacted us regarding the items of concern you listed. I can’t imagine how the squirrel entered the house, maybe the previous renter had left the door open? We have thoroughly washed all the throw blankets. Our maintenance company checked out the BBQ and said that the gas was not completely turned on; this has been corrected. There are vents upstairs and 2 of the bedrooms have ceiling fans. The bed down stairs is a med/firm bed which some do appreciate. All the beds have been purchased in the last two years and are in good condition. We make sure that the home is thoroughly cleaned after each visit and the carpets are cleaned three times a year. Some of the light switches are for lamps which have to be turned on for them to work; sorry if this was confusing. The back yard deck is approximately 250 sq. ft. and has a table with 6 chairs, the BBQ and additional seating for at least 6 people. We will add this information to our listing. We have had so many who have enjoyed their stay, we are truly sorry for the inconveniences you encountered.” The homeowner prioritizes the guest experience, and we are confident future travelers will love staying at this cabin! Everything you need for a Vacation home!

This place was nice and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was more than enough beds for 10 adults and more. Janet was great, she was fast to respond to any question. Definitely book this place again when I come back!

lots of bedspaces, just two of bedrooms have two top windows no blinds, so its pretty bright in the morning, otherwise, its great place for skiiing at Sierra.

We had several families with young kids stay here and loved it. One room with a queen bed also had rollaway bed in closet. Loved the convenience to Sierra-at-Tahoe and Heavenly.

Great Property

My team and I had a great time at the property. It has plenty of bedrooms and beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and our point of contact, Janet, was very helpful throughout the process. My biggest issue was with the Evolve team. Weeks after booking the property they email me saying that the house only allows for 10 adults and 2 children and if I didn't meet this requirement I would be fined. I panicked because I searched for 12 adults/0 children and this was one of the options. I then email them with a screenshot of my reservation in which I stated 12 adults. I didn't get a response until about a week after. They were not helpful and it seemed like I was not going to be able to get my money back. I emailed them twice after our talk asking for help and no response. I finally called and spoke with the lovely Nyree Adams, who clarified everything and helped me. The search criteria for this property should be for a max of 10 adults and it should not pop up as an option for 12 adults in order to avoid confusion, extreme frantic and headaches.

Family get together .

Even if the place was an older home it was very warm , cozy and welcoming . My whole family liked the deck and the backyard with pine trees. We did not feel like we were in a rental home. The owners made us feel at home . We did not have hot water on our 2nd day . The owner responded right away when notified . It’s one of the places we don’t mind going back .

great place to gather with friends

We were four families and really appreciated that the living room was big with more than enough seating so we could all gather to hang. Location was convenient (we went to Sierra at Tahoe), and the next day when it snowed, we used the street for lots of sledding fun. The kitchen was well-equipped. Nice place overall!

Comfortable stay in Tahoe

This Tahoe house had everything we needed to spend to great weekend in Tahoe. It was spacious enough for 12 people. We loved the fireplace to keep us warm. There is plenty of dishware and cookware for us to have a nice family meal. Overall great place!

Wish there was a real fireplace or at least we could get the gas one to work. The instruction ask you to not use it and we could not figure it out anyway. Also the garbage from prior guest was not put out for pick up. We put it out but the pick up had already happened. So there is a lot of garbage there now but not all from us

Can't wait to stay here again!

Some friends and I recently stayed at this cabin for a girls weekend and we had a fabulous time! The overall feel is kind of rustic style, but updated, which is exactly what we were looking for. 3 bedrooms/1 bath upstairs and 1 bedroom/1 bath downstairs, with lots of beds and even an extra roll-away bed which we used on the landing upstairs. Everything was very clean, beds were nice and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I’ve stayed at a lot of cabins in South Lake (some were downright scary) and I was shocked to get such a wonderful cabin for the price. We had ten people and there was literally nowhere we could’ve stayed that would’ve been better, believe me I searched! There’s a huge leather couch, big flat screen TV and we were surprised to find a huge selection of DVDs, we watched a ton! We also enjoyed the lovely deck with a BBQ and lots of seating. Great proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, hiking/biking, the lake, Stateline, golfing… We had some questions for the owner and they were very nice, allowed us to check in early and gave us some great recommendations for attractions in the area, like the Beacon Bar/Restaurant (on the lake, live music, super fun scene!). A big 5 starts for this place. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

Nice and cozy

Rented this house for a summer trip to Tahoe with a group of friends. The house overall was a lot smaller than I imagined from the pictures, but it was spacious enough for us to all comfortably hang out. The kitchen area was spacious with a large island that we all gathered around to eat and drink. The couches in the living room were also very comfortable--some of us fell right asleep there! The outside deck was also spacious and had a great view of neighboring spaces and nature. We made good use of the BBQ as well. There were plenty of towels and pillows to go around. Beds were extremely soft (some of us didn't like that, we woke up with back aches) so that's something to keep in mind if you have back problems! The listing also stated that there were 2.5 bathrooms, but we could only find 2. The garage door also didn't open (we tried to get it to open for the first 30 minutes and gave up) so we all ended up parking out in front and on the street. The house itself was about a 15-20min drive from downtown Lake Tahoe and about 30min drive from the lake. We enjoyed the drive into and out of town because of all the scenery! All in all, it was a great space and very comfortable for what we needed. We had a great time!

Spectacular!

After a tiring drive from San Francisco, we arrived to this beautiful cabin. Equipment to clear out snow from the front were extremely helpful. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow, plenty of space and cozy rooms, kitchen is well equipped and ready for cooking home made meals. We had a snow storm and were unable to go out as planned, dozens of board games available and family had great bonding time. The owner made sure we were okay during the storm and allowed us to take our time during check out. So happy we chose this cabin. We hope to come back soon!

Such a Wonderful Cabin!

This is really a special cabin. It's spacious but still has the cozy cabin feel. I love the gourmet kitchen and beautiful deck overlooking the forest. The bedrooms are lovely and there's a large living & dining area which is great for entertaining. The cabin is on a quiet street yet it's in close proximity to all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. We'll definitely be coming back!

Home away from Home

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much! We really felt at home the eating and living quarters are so family friendly. Everyone enjoyed their room and said it was very comfortable. I would definitely reccomend to stay here and my family will be back ! :-)
