Conveniently located, our Lake Front Home is just a short 10-minute drive south to Emory, where you can find several restaurants and groceries. A 15-minute drive north to Silver Springs offers a cute downtown area with great restaurants, movie theater, and experience the vibrant culture of East Texas. There us also a Walmart and Lowes for any supplies or last-minute items you may need. Canton, TX is only a 40-minute drive to enjoy First Monday Trade Days. If you haven't experienced the world's largest flea market, you need to check it out. We have a pull cart in the garage you can borrow to do your shopping.

As you step inside our home, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious open-concept home features a large screened-in porch that showcases the stunning lake views, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the great outdoors. Sink into the comfortable sofas, cozy up by the fireplace, fire table or simply marvel at the natural wooded beauty that surrounds you.

The fully equipped kitchen is complete with modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the essentials needed to prepare delicious meals. We have a large farm table that seats 10 for a huge family meal. We have a charcoal grill for your use.

With three tastefully decorated bedrooms, our Lake Front Home comfortably accommodates large families or groups of friends.

The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in closet, shower, and bathtub, ensuring the utmost privacy and comfort. The master bedroom has a desk with a secondary monitor if you want to do some work. The second bedroom features a queen bed, a spacious closet, and a dresser. The third bedroom features a queen bunk with a twin on top as well as twin bunk beds and a closet.

Enjoy family game time including giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, corn hole, crocket, darts, playing cards with chips, and several card and board games.

Step outside onto the deck or pool area, where you'll find the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Relax in the comfortable outdoor seating area or fire up the grill for a delightful barbecue with loved ones. Enjoy a swim or float in the refreshing in-ground pool. Surrounded by trees for complete privacy. Features Adirondack chairs, umbrellas for shade, and three lounge chairs to relax and take in the sun and lake view.

As the sun sets over the lake, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and exchange stories under the starry sky, making evenings by the fireside truly magical.

Nature lovers will be captivated by the diverse wildlife and the soothing sounds of birdsong. Our property is usually surrounded by deer. Be warned, this is the country, so there are bugs. However, the property has a bug misting system to try to reduce pests as much as possible.

Guest access
During your stay, take advantage of the private boat dock, canoe, and kayaks. Fishing enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of fish that call these waters home.

Whether you're an avid swimmer, enjoy canoeing and kayaking (provided), or simply want to lounge by the water's edge, the private lake access provides endless opportunities for outdoor fun. The floating dock with a ladder provides easy access to the water. (The lake does have stumps, so you need to be extremely cautious of where u are going in the boats). You can also rent boats from Lake fork Boat Rental and they will deliver and pickup at our dock.

There is a private boat ramp in the community, so you can easily launch your own boat. Our boat lift will not be available for your use, but our dock has space to tie off your boats during your stay.

Other things to note
No Parties or Loud Music - This place is perfect to relax and rejuvenate, and enjoy the lake and nature. This is a residential neighborhood, so absolutely no loud music at any time of the day and no noise, especially after 10 pm. Sound carries far and easily, so the neighbors will call the sheriff/police.

Pool is not available and covered from November to April for the off-season. Pool is NOT heated.

By making this VBRO reservation, Guest attests that the following statements are true and agree to all the below statements.
- I accept responsibility for all persons on the Property and agree that children will be supervised at all times
- I acknowledge and assume responsibility for any injury to me or persons on the Property as a result of my stay.
-I acknowledge that extreme caution will be taken near the water, especially with children, and that lifejackets (provided) will be used during water activities.
I understand there is some inherent risk from outdoor lakeside activities (i.e., swimming, use of the dock/ use of canoe/kayak) and accept responsibility for that risk.

The guests will be fully responsible for all damage and/or loss that occurs during their rental period (excluding acts of God or nature). I will acknowledge the condition of the property in good order and condition upon arrival or inform the Host promptly if found otherwise.

Late Check Out Fees: If you do not check out by 11 am, you will be charged an extra $50 per hour. We have a very tight turnaround time for cleaning, as the check-in time is 3 pm.

Host is not liable for any incidents in regards to the house, use of boathouse/Dock, lake, and use of canoe/Kayaks.

Host is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, injury or cancellation fees.

All Guests agree to indemnify and hold the Property Owners harmless from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by Guest or individuals invited onto the property by Guest.
