Four bedroom country cottage with scenic views

Stay comfortably in Burnfort at this enchanting 4-bedroom cottage. This house has been recently refurbished .The main house consists of a main bathroom, three bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, sunroom and hallway. The annex consists of a kitchen with a dining area, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Each room features a cozy queen bed, two bedside lockers with lamps. Three bedrooms have built in wardrobes with hanging space with provided hangers. With 3 bathrooms equipped with a bathtub and shower, guests can freshen up before exploring the area. The property also includes amenities like towels, bedding, an iron, dryer, washing machine, microwave, airfryer, electric hob and cooker hair dryer, oil central heating, Wifi, smart television with 16 channels and two open fire stoves. Secure parking as property has electric gates. The house is fitted with an alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and fire alarm. Enjoy all that Cork has to offer when you stay at our place. What a charming, spacious house in the Irish countryside! It was perfect for our family of 5. Everyone got their own room and my 19 year old especially loved having the granny flat to herself! The rooms were actually bigger than they looked in the pictures. The board games were a nice touch and definitely got used.Mariza is an excellent host who truly went above and beyond. She was quick to respond to questions before and after our arrival. We were welcomed by Christmas lights, fresh baked scones and brown bread. And she had left firewood so we could have a cozy fire in the family room. When I messaged asking if she knew anything about the ancient wedge tomb in the area, she quickly reached out to her friend who owns the farm it’s on, so we were able to go see it the next day! The house is convenient to Cork, Blarney, and Killarney, and the town of Mallow is only 10 minutes away with grocery stores and restaurants. We really feel lucky to have found this house!

Merveilleux séjour pour Noël ! L'hÎte avait décoré la maison si joliment...tout est formidable. Les lits ultra confortables, l'espace, le studio, la vue, les équipements...et tout est parfaitement propre.Mariza est une hÎtesse si chaleureuse que vous vous sentez accueillis et chez vous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great and the bread, scones, etc. were such a nice touch! Marisa was so great and responded very quickly to any questions. The house was perfect for our group. Would highly recommend!

What a find! Such a comfortable, clean, well equipped and beautifully situated house, in the middle of the Cork countryside, near lots of scenic attractions. Mariza is a 5 star host, welcoming us with tasty bakes and fresh milk and really easy to communicate with - no long waits for an answer. Finding the house was no problem - and gaining access was a doddle! Definitely keeping this one in mind for future visits to visit family in the area. Thank you, Mariza.

Simply a delight!

Mariza and Barry have set up a comfortable home away from home for their guests. We were greeted with fresh flowers, yummy homemade bakes and general comfort. This Cottage is well appointed while still being appropriate for children to stay. Mariza was easy to communicate with and even brought her dogs by to meet us on our last morning. We visited Blarney Castle which was fabulous! Explored Cork a bit and visited Bunratty Castle. I highly recommend both castles as all day experiences. Thank you again Mariza!

Awesome launch-pad for family get-away

Couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect place to come "home" to each day after adventuring around Ireland. We loved the central location that gave us easy access to Killarney, Waterford, Rock of Cashel, and many other adventures. The views are breathtaking! Walks up the lane were refreshing.We had perfect amount of space for 6 (easily could accommodate 2 more). We enjoyed sitting around the table together at the end of the day, playing games (provided) and talking. Cottage is decorated tastefully and we felt so welcomed by the fresh flowers and delicious baked goods. Washer/dryer were nice to have on-site as we needed to do a few loads. Communication with hosts was easy, quick, informative and genuine.Absolutely nothing but good to say about our stay, except that we wish it could have been even longer. Highest recommendations from us on the Country Cottage!

Hidden Gem

This property is tucked away in the rolling hills of north Cork and just a short drive to Blarney. We had an absolute wonderful stay here. The house is in tip top condition as is the exterior. Mariza the owner, was Johhny on the spot with any questions we had and even helped us with local contacts and directions.We will definitely stay here again!!5 stars!!!
