Vineyard House in the Pastures of Heaven
This storybook Vineyard House is set on a working boutique vineyard. It has been converted into a beautiful countryside escape overlooking the Pastures of Heaven. The stocked kitchen and BBQ have everything you need to make a gourmet meal to pair with your complimentary bottle of estate wine. Enjoy the fire pit above the rear patio overlooking the upper vineyard, enjoy with wine while watching grapes grow! This gorgeous villa is secluded while still close enough to hop into Monterey or Carmel.
This building is private, secluded, yet 10 minutes to Laguna Seca Raceway, 20 minutes to the River Road Wine Trail, Carmel and Monterey. Enjoy a BBQ, relax by the fire, and enjoy s'mores while taking in the beautiful view of the valley and vineyard from either the front or back deck.
The house has one Queen Bed upstairs and one Queen bed downstairs, and 2 Twin Beds downstairs. There is one full bathroom upstairs (toilet, sink, shower) and a 1/2 bath on the back patio (toilet and sink) which can be accessed from outside the building. Please ensure 1.5 bathrooms is sufficient for your 6 guests prior to booking. The back patio restroom maybe used by groundskeeper and maintenance staff during the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
NOTE: Please park next to building in the dirt/gravel, not on the patio.
NOTE: There no cell phone reception at this listing. We do provide wifi but cannot control when there are service provider outages. Thank you for understanding!
This property is secluded and private on its own 10 acre vineyard. It is located next to another 10 acre parcel, which has another house, the Hacienda House (on another 10 acre parcel with a vineyard also) , which can be booked separately. If you book just the Vineyard House your stay will be private, secluded and not impacted by the Hacienda House. They are separate parcels, with separate gates, driveways and addresses.
HACIENDA HOUSE: The Hacienda House may be booked in addition if available. The Hacienda sleeps 14. The Hacienda must be booked separately.
ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS: All garages, offices, and storage rooms are OFF LIMITS. They will be locked prior to check in. Any rental items (tables/chairs etc) that have been requested will be left outside these buildings. Guests may not enter these buildings for any reason without a host present.
HOST & COHOST: A host will be available at all times during your stay via phone or messaging.
VINEYARDS/GROUNDS: Enjoy a stroll through the Vineyards and Orchards, walk along the country road, or just take a short drive to one of the many great hiking spots nearby.
At times there may be staff members, gardeners, or maintenance staff on site during your stay. They will not enter the Vineyard House and will respect the privacy of the guests at all times. The Vineyard House is rural, and at times there may be turkey, deer, coyotes, and bobcats in the area, but most likely not inside the gates.
MAINTENANCE:There are grounds keepers and maintenance workers that occasionally come onto the property during the day, and may be working in the vineyards and the orchards.
INFANT/TODDLER BEDS: There is one pac n play available for the Vineyard House upon request as well as one high chair. It must be requested prior to the day of check in. There are no baby gates on the stairs, please be aware of this before booking.
