The home is a bit older and looks as if it has been updated inside with flooring and paint. It has plenty of room for a large group and is in a quiet neighborhood but near a lot of restaurants and stores. The back yard was not mowed so we did not use it and the house was surfaced cleaned but could use a good deep clean.

The hosts for this property were so professional and attentive. The home was clean and restocked with the necessities. It was perfect for our large family group that was attending a wedding in Abilene. The arcade room was a hit with both the kids and the kids at heart. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Clean home in a great neighborhood. It was a quick stay for us, but we walked our dog a couple of times around the very friendly and safe area. Plenty of room in the home with amazing water pressure I with we could take home with us!!! The home is just as pictured and Josh was quick to respond if messaged.

This property was everything that was advertised and much more! Clean, quiet and very comfortable. There were more amenities than advertised and communication with the property owner was quick and easy. I would recommend this in a heartbeat!

Really need to work on cleanliness. Microwave dirty, bed sheets looked dirty and had hair on them. Floor was also dirty AC not cooling properly- could never get inside temperature below 76 during the heat of the day.Property needs some tender loving care.

I cannot recommend this property. This house was filthy. The floors were so bad you couldn’t walk without shoes. The bath mats may have never been washed. Dishes and flatware looked to be used and then returned to the drawers and cupboards without washing. By day 2 there were black bugs on the kitchen counters and in the food we purchased. The property was missing many items advertised: soap and shampoo dispensers were empty in both bathrooms. Only 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels provided. No hairdryer. Very few dishes. None for children. No dish towels. No ice maker. No spices for cooking. There was a cabinet full of smoke detectors not installed. Such a disappointment we left our family Christmas holiday a day early.

This woman needs to be removed from VRBO (working on that currently) for lies and manipulation. She’s never allowed back at our home again. Prior to Jill’s relatives arrival (yes she never stayed here) I personally went to walk through my property as I typically do from time to time to make sure our guests have a nice, clean, VERY COMFORTABLE place to stay. Needless to say it was great as it always is. One thing we learned during, not Jill’s stay but her relatives stay, was that Jill was indeed not staying with us but was footing the bill for her family. Immediately this lady began to nit pick our place. No spices? The freezer was dirty? We’ve had a few guests use this tactic before and we knew exactly what she was doing. She sent pictures of the dirty floor on her relatives 4th day in the home (which we sent our house cleaner back to clean… because we’re exceptional hosts and want to keep our guests happy even when we know they made the mess) but she somehow missed getting a picture of the black bugs? The only thing I will give her is that the wash cloths that are typically there were not. But the place was supplied with towels as well as paper towels that the guests could have used. She complained of there being no children’s plates?!?!? But we have several glass dinner plates as well as plastic plates. UNSHOCKINGLY after her relatives stayed in our place for over a week she asked for a FULL REFUND! Couldn’t have been that bad as your relatives (who never complained) stayed there an entire week. Also Jill only left us a bad review after we left her a 1 star review…. and be careful because she did initially book our place without paying the pet deposit but ended up paying it after I sent her the request. DO NOT LET THIS LADY BOOK YOUR PLACE.

Lots of space

The property offers lots of room for a large family. There are some great amenities. Close to shopping and restaurants. Highways are easily accessible. The cleanliness of the property was a little less desirable. Not terrible but not what I expected. Windows and sills were dirty and dusty. Oven dirty and a few things broken throughout. Dust on ceiling fans. Beds felt as if sand had been scattered in them. Would have loved to enjoy the backyard but the lawn was a bit overgrown. Overall we loved the space and area. Great property and location for the price.

I also enjoy making people happy so hosting people with a property that I’ve personally remodeled and put blood, sweat, and tears into is like feeding the guys at the station a meal you’ve prepared for them. I love it!

I chose this place specifically for its location. It’s south Abilene. It’s a safe and quiet neighborhood. I’ve met every neighbor. They’re all elderly retired folks. It’s close to the best restaurants we have. It’s right next door to Red Bud Park and the YMCA. The mall is about 1-2 miles away. I know ladies love shopping. This place is ideal for that. The close-by amenities are off the charts. Walmart is about 1-2 miles away. You can’t beat it if you’re looking to stay somewhere that has close access to everything.

This property was designed and remodeled for families and friends in mind. We wanted our guests to have their own smart TV’s so when it’s time to crawl into your comfortable bed you can access all your favorite apps for your own viewing pleasure. But we also added activities outside the rooms to bring everyone together because we believe people are truly happier after enjoying social activities with others before slipping off to their own privacy.
