Amazing! I couldn't think of something negative to say if I tried. Check in/check out was a breeze, the house was immaculate and full of thoughtful and adorable details. The host is very generous and super easy to communicate with. The entire stay was perfect and we will be back, I'm sure of it!

This is a very clean, comfortable and spacious home that is beautifully decorated. The outdoor patio area was nice although we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Our host, Norma, was pleasant and check-in and check-out were super easy. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area!

A great new build. Very clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Owners are very nice and accommodating. We were in the area for funeral services and the location was convenient and quiet.

The place was beautiful through and through and so comfortable. Being in the middle of town it was perfect for our visit and was definitely a pleasure. The amenities, decor, etc., were all very well done. And our host was extremely kind, so we definitely appreciate her for being so accessible. Fantastic Stay

The house was so clean and cozy! Decorated perfectly for Lockhart, TX!! Norma, our host, left us quite a few snacks, drinks, and other items to eat during our stay. Would 10/10 recommend to a friend and will definitely be staying here next time we come to Lockhart!

We live in North Texas and my family and I are headed to Port Aransas for the week. We figured a couple of days before the trip to get a head start and get closer to the coast that way there wasn’t as much driving. We looked at the map and found Lockhart, just outside of Austin and only a few hours away from Port A. I figured we could enjoy a small town for an afternoon and enjoy the famous Blacks Barbecue. So we start looking for hotels in the area and none really fit what we were looking for as far as accommodations. We found the “COWBOY RETREAT” available in Lockhart. Looking at the pictures, the property looked very new and really nice on the inside. Good thing bc you were gonna have to hunker down there for the night with no sleep bc you would be up all night defending your property and yourself. We make our trek and finally get to Lockhart, looking forward to getting our stuff in the house then heading out for barbecue. We make our way to the property and it was getting worse with every turn. First turn, Several men were riding bikes crusading the streets wearing back packs like their slinging dope. Then when we made another turn there is a home that says caution explosives inside spray painted on the side. People were on their porches and drives starring like we were fresh meat. All the homes for several blocks are ran down and we circled twice, said hell no, we aren’t risking our kids safety or property. Please do not be scammed like us. WE WANT A REFUND!!
