Discover the charm of Seabrook Island at the newly renovated Summerwind Cottage, nestled among the majestic Live Oak trees. This delightful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat offers a serene ambiance perfect for families or groups seeking a peaceful getaway, accommodating up to 8 guests comfortably.
This property has been beautifully updated and renovated. A well-stocked kitchen featuring subway tile, quartz countertops, and stainless-steel appliances is great for gathering. An island with seating for two makes an ideal spot to catch up on emails or enjoy a cup of coffee. The dining area is open to the main living area with seating for six at its oversized table. Loads of comfy seating, an overhead fan, and a 58" Smart TV make everyone feel right at home. The newly renovated sunroom boasts a 64-inch TV for your enjoyment. Off the sunroom is the grilling deck with a gas grill.
The master en-suite has a king bed, large Smart TV, a renovated bath, and balcony access. The master bath has an oversized sink and a tiled walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms are on the opposite side of the cottage. Guest bedroom one has a queen bed and oversized windows. The second guest bedroom also has a queen bed with access to the outdoor sun deck. The guest bedrooms share an updated full bath with a tub/shower combo. Off the kitchen you will find the laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer and a pantry.
• BEACH: 0.5 miles away. At least 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon are located under the cottage in the carport area for guest use. • CLUB AMENITIES: Digital Amenity Cards are optional and available for $55 per day per family. This offers access to the Beach Club (open seasonally), golf, and tennis. The Lakehouse outdoor pool is accessible free of charge. • POOL: Optional access to the two Seabrook Island Beach Club pools with the amenity card. Access to the outdoor pool at the Seabrook Island Lake House is included. • PARKING: This property allows for a maximum of 3 vehicle gate passes. There is parking in the carport area and in an adjacent off-street space. Parking on the pine straw or street is strictly prohibited. • LSV GOLF CARTS: LSV golf carts are allowed at this property. LSVs must have a pass and count as a vehicle towards the 3-vehicle maximum limit. • CHILDREN: Children welcome. • PET POLICY: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. An additional pet fee applies. • LONG-TERM RENTALS: This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates. • PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED & MANAGED: Short-Term Rental License STR25-000302. • ADDITIONAL INFO: Guest safety is always a priority. A fire extinguisher is located under the sink. Fitness center and indoor pool access at the Lakehouse are available for a daily rate of $16 per person. A $69 Non-Refundable Fee applies for $1500 of Damage Protection Coverage.
• LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club).
• WASHER & DRYER: A stacked washer and dryer are located in the laundry closet off the kitchen for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know.
• COFFEE MAKER: A standard 12-cup glass coffee pot is on site for guest use. Please bring your own ground coffee and filters.
• AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis, and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Seabrook Island Amenity Cards are available for purchase for $55 a day for your party. Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Pre-order forms are mandatory for all guests. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is unable to accept information over the phone.
• ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) charges a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a strict limit of 3 vehicle passes. The $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night to 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due two weeks prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided, and drivers may be required to show a valid driver's license at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low-speed golf carts) require a gate pass and count toward the 3-vehicle limit.
• CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self-check-in process. Guests will directly check in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with the check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions.
• CONTINUOUS MANAGEMENT & SERVICE: This property is proudly managed by Sandpiper. We are local and family-owned, and your stay is our priority. We are on the island, licensed, insured, and locally staffed. Our standard for your stay is what we would want and expect for our own vacation. We offer guests continuous, attentive service during the reservation process and throughout your time here. From the moment you book with us, in planning and preparing for your arrival, throughout your stay with us, and even after checking out and sharing your experience with us, we remain committed to your vacation experience and are here at any time to answer any questions that arise or concerns you have. We want you to have a relaxing, safe, and memorable trip.
• CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We are one of the only companies that washes the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.
• THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.
• IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments, and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.
• POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking or vaping please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.
• PARTIES: This is an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!

This property was a perfect getaway for us. The location is great, the beds are very comfortable, the house was spotless, and the amenity card gave us a terrific set of services to use. The Lake House has a great library and gym, and while the pool looked fantastic we didn't use it and therefore couldn't give it a rating. We'd go back in a heart beat!!

Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location overlooking golf course.One suggestion I would have is to have bureau in master bedroom. We were there for 2 weeks and didn’t really have a place to put our clothes-other than hangars. Other than that it was a great rental!

The home was clean and comfortable. The host was easy to navigate. The property offered great options for my pup. The kitchen was well stocked. The oven top is gas which is a great feature and love that! Though some of the eyes didn’t seem to be in great working condition.
