With 4 cozy bedrooms including 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed, and 1 king bed, this retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washer/dryer. Relax in the 2 bathrooms equipped with a shower and bathtub. Enjoy a fire in the fireplace or by the outdoor firepit. Visit Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Castle and Key, Bulleit or Jeptha Creed Distilleries all within a short drive, or make the easy 45 minute drive into Louisville to visit Angels Envy, Rabbit Hole, Evan Williams or Old Forester, We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

Amazing Stay; Great Folks!

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The house is super clean, and filled with everything you need for a great stay! The hillside view is fantastic and the fireplace was a great late night hangout! We were visited by white-tail deer every morning and some nights. Don and Nancy are super friendly folks and you can tell they really do care about your stay being comfortable. They even helped us navigate a fallen tree that blocked the drive! Before we knew it, a friendly neighbor down the hill was there to make quick work of the tree. Overall, 100/10. We will be back next year without a doubt!!!

Derby getaway

We came to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. This was a wonderful place to stay! The accommodations were great, the property is beautiful and the owner was so great with communication. It was clean and well equipped with kitchen essentials. We loved the outdoor porch and fire pit. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

Perfect Place & Property!!

The house and property are so beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! We were celebrating my brother’s 21st birthday and had family fly in from Kansas City and Phoenix to do the bourbon trail! I’ll definitely be booking again!!

Amazing Getaway

We were so honored to be the very first guests of the secluded cabin on Acorn Hill. The property itself was beautiful between the wooded scenery, amazing sunsets and deer sightings both in the mornings and evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit each night and rocking on the front porch each morning!The kitchen was the most well stocked I have seen in a rental home which was appreciated as we enjoyed cooking there. The grill was a great addition for an amazing steak night on our final evening.Each room was beautifully decorated and all of the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms were also well stocked with all the creature comforts of home.Location was fantastic. Far enough away to enjoy the quiet and serenity, yet close enough to visit the racetrack and explore the local towns.Tip of the cap was an amazing gift from the hosts knowing we were there celebrating a birthday. They were well communicative before the stay so we knew what to expect and how to access the property. We will definitely look forward to staying in this home again!

We live in Louisville and bought our secluded cabin to enjoy the peace, quiet and wildlife that the property has to offer. We enjoy watching the deer come and go throughout the day and enjoying a cold drink while rocking on the front porch. Evenings by the firepit are a great way to wrap up the day!
