Enjoy lake views in this cozy 1 bedroom unit. It is right in downtown Whitmore Lake with access to the sandy lake across the street. Only 15 minutes to downtown Ann Arbor and 12 minutes to downtown Brighton. Free parking and wifi.

It was very clean and pet friendly! There was an air conditioner. Not to far from the lake either. Very nice place for a weekend getaway.

Very Clean & Cozy Cottage

Clean and updated cottage with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay! Beds & shower were small. Very soft mattress & memory foam padding made you sink into it. Two full-size adults could not sleep comfortably. 2nd convertible couch-to-bed is best suited for small children.

The property was exactly as listed, having the lake across the road was nice to swim in after the hot days. House was clean had everything we needed. The only thing we would change would be the mattress and the couch in the living area. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on at the end of the night and not much better to sleep on. The mattress was very soft and we sank in. Other then these items I would recommend to others and stay again.

Overall a good stay in a good locale! Only notable issue was that the water pressure was almost unusably low, and hot water would take quite a while to get to temp. Didn't ruin the place but definitely needs some improvement, as being out in nature and dirty all day just to have to wait 10 minutes for the water go get hot was a little annoying. But great spot! Pollys market nearby was a great local market, right by a dominoes, solid fishing spot across the street. GREAT proximity to Ann Arbor and Detroit, as well as many surrounding recreation/conservation areas.

The cottage met all my basic needs while traveling to the area for work training. I appreciated the quiet that was offered by individual units with private entrances. Communicating with the owner was easy and quickly responsive. The location is adequate for doing things in the area though less suited for enjoyment of water views or access. I felt that the reasonable rates reflected these aspects well.
