This is about as close as you can get to Ocean City without paying the island prices!

Walk or bike from our home to Somers Point restaurants, diners, bars, golfing, boat ramp, etc.
Golfers: The property is located just behind Great Bay Country Club
Boaters: Two boat ramps are just down the street
Foodies: Walk to Smitty's, Gregories, Anchorage, Crab Trap, etc.
Hosts are available via messaging or phone call and typically respond within 15 minutes.
Self check-in is available with provided pin pad code/electronic lock.
Our home is uniquely located in a quiet residential neighborhood just behind conveniences like Windjammer Cafe, Wawa, Di Orio's Grill and Point Diner. Just a 5 minute walk will bring you to these options plus popular Crab Trap and Crabby Jacks.
Also walkable distance (10-15 minutes walk) are ammentities like Great Bay Country Club, local bars like Jose Kelly's, Charlies, Anchorage, Smitty's Clam Bar and Gregories.
During select times, you can also walk over to William Morrow Beach Park to enjoy free live music or to Somers Mansion to explore the Farmer's Market.
For longer term stays, consider renting a boat slip near by and enjoying proximity to summer watersports.
We are also only a 2 minutes bike ride to the start of the Somers Point Bike Path or to the foot of the 9th Street Bridge (bikeable) which will connect you into Ocean City.
Playgrounds nearby at John F Kennedy Park or William Morrow Beach.

Our unique home offers living area across two floors.
Downstairs will delight you with a living room, full kitchen, bathroom (tub/shower) and two bedrooms. This floor is at ground level and easily accessible with only 1 step onto the front porch and then 1 step into the foyer. Downstairs, the bedrooms are currently configured each with a queen bed, night stands and dresser. The living area includes seating for 6 at the kitchen table, couch, loveseat and television.
Upstairs offers a completely separate living room and 2nd kitchen space, bathroom (shower) and two bedrooms. This 2nd kitchen does not have a cooktop or oven but has full cabinetry, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. and is perfect for breakfast or evening family gatherings. This space has seating for 4 at the kitchen table plus two bar stools and the living room consists of a couch, loveseat, small chair, office desk space and television. The upstairs bedrooms are currently configured with 1 king bed, night stands and dresser and 2 twins, night stand and dresser. The laundry machine is also located upstairs.
Directly off of each kitchen are small porches with seveal chairs to sip morning coffee. Both kitchens are stocked with utensils, glassware, plates/bowls, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The downstairs main kitchen also includes pots and pans, cutlery, baking sheets, etc. to prepare meals.
Internet is Comcast cable speed and is the fastest available in the area. We use an Eero router and extenders which can be plugged into with your own ethernet cable if working from home.
We do not provide cable television but you are more than welcome to log into your own subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) on the televisions!
Off-street parking for up to two cars is available behind the house.
While most visitors will arrive by personal car, there is a bus stop several minutes away that will take you to Atlantic City or other local destinations.
Street parking is available directly in front of the home (2-3 cars) and an additional 1-2 cars can be parked behind the home in the driveway.
Biking and walking is ideal

This is a quiet neighborhood and is our personal home when not rented. Please be courteous to our neighbors at all times.
Booking with owner directly and not with an online travel platform avoids NJ occupancy taxes (local Somers Point tax will still be collected)
Absolutely no parties or loud noise after dusk. Only those listed on your reservation are permitted at the property. Maximum occupancy is 8 adults (minor children are not included in this number). Please park directly in front of our home or in the driveway.
Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind will be tolerated in our home. We often have back-to-back reservations and clearing the smells from the property are practically impossible. An additional $200 cleaning fee will apply if the unit smells of weed, smoke, etc. and you will be responsible if we or one of the booking platforms needs to relocate the following guest for this reason. We are very strict on this. Please do not book if anyone in your group intends to smoke.
We cannot accommodate any "Senior Week" or Prom bookings. Must be a responsible adult over 25 years old to book and the individual who books must be present for the duration of the stay
A pet on site needs to be indicated prior to arrival by selecting "Add Pet". There is a $100 additional cleaning fee for the extra time it takes to prepare the home after a pet stays.
