Beach Park: Cozy, modern house with ocean views

Ready for an escape to the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast? This 1,900 sq. ft. modern house offers ocean views, nearby beach access, and comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests to enjoy!

Located next to the Roads End State Park, a long stretch of sandy beach is nearly out the front door, and some awesome hiking lies just up the road. The main streets of downtown are a quick drive away, where you can find shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
The space
Continue on to the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and polished wood floors, fully equipped for all your cooking needs, including a dishwasher for easy clean-up. A few guests can sit at the long counter for a snack, and a dining table has seats for six to enjoy a nice dinner together by the window.

Upstairs, you will find a family room with a variety of furniture, a flatscreen TV, Blu-ray, a Playstation 3 gaming system with games, and a wet bar complete with a microwave, sink, and mini-fridge. The large picture window offers a peaceful view of the ocean and Cascade head, and the deck offers patio chairs for you and your pals to enjoy the fresh air along with the view. A private washer/dryer allows for any laundry that needs refreshing, and WiFi is available for your convenience.

Property is fantastic and just one block off the ocean. Downstairs TV would not work due to an issue with the outlets (GFI outlet would not reset). Kitchen very nicely stocked with spices and the basics. If you bring a dog, the property is not fenced and is on a very busy street. Living room (not used due to disability) is upstairs along with two bedrooms. All in all we have stayed at better and other than location, there's nothing special here.

This property was truly perfect in every way. The layout was great for a multi-generational gathering. My 89-year old mom was in the downstairs bedroom and bath. Upstairs was roomy enough for myself, my daughter and her husband, and four grandkids. We never felt crowded. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. In addition, there were spices, coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa, and popcorn available. A wagon filled with beach toys was in the garage and the game closet kept the kids occupied on a rainy day. The whole place was very clean (and I am picky), and well decorated. The owner was quick to respond to questions and recommended two great places to eat. The only disappointment was that the week went by so quickly. I will definitely be back.

House was clean and nice. As advertised it is a very short walk to Roads End park and beach access. Like most Beach access points the path there is a bit steep which was not a problem for us but might be for some. If so, it is an easy drive to the Chinook Winds casino where there is a low bank beach access point.

The photo is misleading. There are. So many two story houses blocking the view. You need a new photo. The upstairs door to the balcony was open when we arrived and blew open the next day. The entry door was very difficult to open. The carpet upstairs needs shampooed.Everything else was very nice.
