Welcome to Stowe, a classic Hocking Hills cabin with a private hot tub and inviting shared spaces. Designed for groups to spend time together, it’s a relaxed and comfortable retreat for families or friends looking to unwind in nature.

All Notestone Reserve cabins are dog-friendly, so your pup is welcome too.

Stowe is part of a small collection of thoughtfully designed homes at Notestone Reserve. The property is intentionally arranged to offer a welcoming shared atmosphere while still providing private outdoor spaces and a peaceful sense of retreat.

Kids had an amazing time in the game room it was spacious super clean when we walked in with everything we needed for our two night stay. It was kind of cold but We still got a nice fire going with the provided firewood. Hot tub was a nice touch. we will definitely be coming back in the future.

This property is stunning! It was like a luxury hotel stay. The owners thought of every little detail needed. It is secluded - we loved sitting in the hot tub that was covered because we had both rain and snow. The games in the basement were fun! We loved that the property had lit signs to note which cabin you are staying in. The house was cozy and beds were very comfortable. We will come again and recommend to everyone looking for a weekend get away!

Our stay at Stowe was amazing! The cabin is exactly as described. Everything we needed for our stay was available! The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking in and enjoying time with family! We also enjoyed our time in the Community Room! Will definitely visit again in the future!

Perfect cabin in the woods

This cabin is everything I had hoped for and more! Nestled back in the woods, it is private but not isolated. There were others in the neighborhood but none too close that it felt I couldn’t relax and have privacy. Working with Stacey was fabulous! The cabin is well stocked with everything you may need from a great selection of games to all the kitchen items needed to cook a full family meal. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Stowe was the perfect place for a weekend trip with our adult children and our dogs. Peaceful with great views, and close to hiking trails. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Stowe. All the personal touches and little extras were great! The place was exactly as it was shown and described. Working with Stacey was so convenient. Her quick response to any of my questions was appreciated. Having the community center so close was an extra bonus. We loved playing pool, shooting basketballs, enjoying all the modern games, etc. Our whole stay was so relaxing!

The Stowe cabin was awesome. Everything was very clean and well maintained. My kids loved the hot tub, and the arcade games. We went to the common game room several nights to play before kid's bed time. I loved the attention to detail and anticipation of guests needs, even for our dog. Overall a lovely stay, we hope to be back!

What an amazing place. Surprised my husband for his birthday for a family weekend. The description and photos are accurate depictions of the house. Our family spent so much time playing games in the lower level, grilling dinner, relaxing on the wraparound porch and talking over nighttime bonfires. It was so private and quiet. Seamless check-in and out and any the correspondence I before arrival was answered very promptly and detailed. Stacey was very helpful. We would love to come back again! Loved our time!

Great experience

My family of four stayed here for a few days while hiking. The beds were extremely comfy and the property was very clean. It was a great place for us and centrally located to most attractions. The drive to the grocery was a little farther than I would’ve liked but everything seems to be spread out in this part of Ohio. The only downsides were there is no pool table at the cabin, but instead it was in a Game Center. I might have overlooked that detail but it seemed a bit deceitful in the listing. And there was only one TV in the basement which was occupied by my teenager the entire time. We did not have any issues with WiFi and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook at night. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Amazing cabin that is thoughtfully furnished close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay so much at Stowe and loved the whole experience. The cabin was thoughtfully furnished for our family of 5 and our kids loved the game room on the property! Everything was a short drive away. We’re already planning our next trip!

What great accommodations at Notestone! this was a last minute family trip to reward the family with a great school year. Everything and I mean, everything exceeded our expectations. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed!

We stayed in the Stowe for two nights, and it was even more beautiful than the pictures! We had perfect spring weather, and spent the evenings roasting s’mores by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Early morning coffee out on the deck was so serene! We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed everything was, from the informational guide to the provided water bottles to the firewood and fire starters. Also the game room was a huge hit! 6 stars if I could!

Great Family Getaway

We booked this for our young family for a midweek getaway. It was perfect for what we needed. Clean, comfortable and great location. The game room was great for the kids and the fire pit was amazing for s’mores in the evening. We will definitely be back.

Great LocatioInfested with Stink Bugs

The cabin itself is beautiful and well maintained. The communal game room is awesome to go spend a little time doing something other than hiking. The host is very communicative and helpful. We arrived about 30 minutes early and we were allowed to drop our things while the cleaning crew was still working. We did so and headed out for a hike. When we returned, the ceiling of our cabin and the kitchen were covered in stink bugs. No windows or doors were left open, they were coming in other ways. They were everywhere. Outside had a wasp nest so we couldn't really eat or spend a lot of time of the deck either. When you are in the woods, you expect a few bugs, but this was extreme. We had originally asked for a late checkout but decided to leave much earlier than needed the last morning of our stay.

The Notestone Stowe rental was very clean, probably the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was stocked with every thing you could think of and more. The community game room was very nice and the kids loved spending time there playing games. The hot tub was clean. Overall a 5-star experience. Would recommend.

Amazing time at Stowe!

We had the most amazing stay at Stowe! The decor and amenities were thoughtful and perfect. This is a great central location to access the state park and preserves of Hocking Hills, while also having a quiet getaway. The hot tub, patio, multiple outdoor seating options, and grill were awesome. The view was very nice, even in early spring. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensils and dishes you may need. Bathroom amenities were also great, with high quality soaps and shampoos, great thick towels. The place was immaculately clean and beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive to any messages and questions. We would highly recommend Notestone Reserve to anyone!

Above and beyond

This is newly constructed so in nice and clean condition. We went on this trip to see Hocking Hills, which is close, and needed a pet friendly place. This place did not disappoint, We would have been fine if it had rained the whole time we were there. It did rain one day and the host even did drop of a basket with at dog towel and treats, nice touch. Only surprise was the pool table was not in the basement of the unit, it was actually in a community game room a couple hundred feet away. It was very nice in there as well. Would definitely go back.
