Bienvenue Ă  Casa Lontano! Cette impressionnante maison de 3 chambres Ă  coucher et 3 salles de bain est situĂ©e dans le quartier privĂ© trĂšs convoitĂ© du front du golfe, Destiny by the Sea. Casa Lontano est situĂ©e Ă  quelques pas des plages de sucre blanc et Ă  moins de deux minutes Ă  pied de l’immense piscine communautaire. Loved it here. I felt like I was in a dream.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. It was so clean and had everything we needed for our week stay. The beach was right across the street and in the evenings I would sit on the balcony and drink a glass of wine and look at the ocean. Since it is a gated community the beach was never crowded and we met some very very nice people. Although most of the time, we just relaxed and enjoyed the white silky soft sand and crystal blue water. We allowed our children to walk home for things and didn't worry a bit. It was amazing. I cannot wait to go back to this amazing beach home.

Destiny never disappoints. Our unit was nice but seemed to lack the personal touches of others we have rented. Furniture was sub par.. beds weren’t the nicest.

Casa Lantano

We recently stayed at Casa Lantano. This is the 2nd year we have stayed in Destiny By The Sea subdivision, and the 2nd year we booked through Five Star Gulf Rentals. This is the first year renting Casa Lantano. I will book this home again, it was comfortable and located conveniently to the beach. There is a vacant lot across the street allowing an ocean view which was great. There is no elevator in the home, and numerous steps to get in the front door, or to the three levels of the home (with groceries, luggage, etc). So keep in mind if you have elderly guests or people with physical limitations it makes it more difficult. Our biggest problem was: the downstairs ground level area (bedroom, bathroom, hallway) smells extremely musty
you can smell it when you come into the house through the garage, or if you are coming downstairs from the 2nd level to the ground level. We reported it to Five Star Gulf Rentals and they are looking into it. The smell was bothersome and unpleasant, but not totally intolerable. But obviously we would have preferred for it not to be there. However, like I said before we will rent this home again as I feel sure Five Star and the owner will handle whatever the issue is. My only other suggestions for this property would be: blinds or shades need to be on all the bedroom and bathroom windows, not just thin see-through curtains..the comforters and decorator pillows need replacing, they are worn and just need updating
and it would be extremely convenient for an additional washer/dryer to be on the ground level floor since there is already a space and plumbing for it, just missing the appliance. Currently the only washer/dryer is located on the second floor. The listing was accurate, the photos reflect the rentals appearance and amenities, the owner/agent was helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Love it. The ONLY thing We did not like was the Pre packed towel sets. The idea is great BUT upon opening them black long hairs (a lot) was found in each Pre packaged towel set. Gross !!!!! Other that it was wonderful

We have stayed in this neighborhood 8 times and love it. The views from Casa Lontano were amazing. The house was perfect.

Beautiful House

Everything was wonderful. Stayed for a week and we didn’t want to leave. Very comfortable home with very thing we needed. Close to everything. Loved it!

Absolutely Amazing

This home and the neighborhood was absolutely amazing! Very nice neighborhood with security that also patrolled in the evening. This made us feel safe and at home. The house was beautiful with high end finishes and a gorgeous view! Only steps to the beach. We will be back!

Beautiful house with a wonderful view!

We enjoyed our stay and everything was as they stated. Our kids had a great time and we felt comfortable with them coming and going as they pleased from the beach to the pool. We were 1/2 block from the beach access and the pool. Destin is a great area for family!

LOVE this place. Beautiful and great location!

I stayed here with my husband and 2 teen boys from 8/17 thru 8/21. We wanted a nice place to stay in Destin near the beach, but not really crowded. This was perfect. The neighborhood is beautiful and has a guard at the gated entry. The beach just had residents from the neighborhood and was not crowded at all. The water and beach and the view were all breath taking. The house is 3 stories and is not on the beach, but directly behind the first row of houses. This house was awesome because we had such a magnificent view - there was an empty lot in front of our house so we got a good view of the ocean. It is just a couple of houses over from the beach access walkway. The house was gorgeous in every way and in great condition. My husband and I stayed on the top floor. My 15 year old stayed on the middle floor where the kitchen and living area were. My 13 year old stayed on the bottom floor. We each had our own big, nice bathroom and bedroom. I live in a 1 story house, so I wasn't real crazy about all the stair climbing (be careful if you have little ones). But it is an amazing house. Nice kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The location of the house is great - close to everything and very quiet. There was even a bike with 2 seats that my kids played on and some sand toys in the garage. The staff was so friendly and I was very pleased with them and the communication. The phone app is pretty cool. Make sure you check it out. There is a neighborhood pool, but we spent our time at the beach and didn't go there at all. I would highly recommend this company, neighborhood, and house. Very happy with this vacation. We usually stay in a hotel where we are all in 1 room with 1 bathroom, etc. This was so much nicer being able to spread out. Worth every penny!!! You won't be disappointed. THANK YOU to the Five Star staff and the home owners for a vacation to remember. Hope to be back soon.

View on the beach from second and third story is excellent since open lot accross the street! Most of the accomodations were fine. A few suggestions to make this a 5 star property... clean sectional on 2nd floor, fix refrigerator so it makes more than 20 cubes of ice/day, paint garage doors, have seating for 6 vs 4 at dinner table and on decks.
