Lux Leisure is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a few minutes from golf, Donner Lake, and Downtown Truckee! Northstar and Squaw Valley are both about 25 minutes away. Enjoy year-round activities that Tahoe has to offer!

The Space:

The living room is situated with comfortable seating gathered around a flat screen TV and cozy gas fireplace. From, here you can access the balcony, furnished with outside seating and a BBQ grill. Have outdoor cookouts during the summer and grill up your favorite ribs/burgers! The kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, drip coffee maker, kettle, and more to make you feel right at home. At the end of the day, gather around the dining table for 6 and exchange stories over a homemade meal.



Downstairs, you can find a spacious game room with a ping pong table, Smart TV, and mini-fridge. Get some friendly competition going or stream your favorite Netflix or Hulu specials!



The main bedroom has a King bed and an en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed. The last bedroom has an en suite and is furnished with a King bed and a bunk bed (not full sized) nook, great for the kids!



There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.



Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.



Tahoe Donner HOA Amenities – Guest Information



Guests have access to 6 Tahoe Donner Short-Term Tenant (STR) passes, which provide entry to select Tahoe Donner HOA amenities, including the Trout Creek Recreation Center (pools, hot tubs, gym, sauna), private beach access (summer only), and other HOA facilities.



Access Fees:

HOA amenities require a daily access fee, paid directly to Tahoe Donner. Fees vary by amenity, age, and season and are not included in your reservation. Full details can be found on the Tahoe Donner website.

STR Tenant Card access to PRIVATE HOA amenities is unavailable on the following dates:

Clean, Comfortable, Good Location

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. This lovely home was very clean and pleasingly decorated. The beds, couch and dining room were all comfortable. The home was conveniently located and well stocked. We will stay again.

Winter wonderland

Stayed here for a birthday weekend getaway. A large storm blew in, stranding us and extended our stay a couple more days. House was clean, neat and well furnished. Large bedrooms and spacious living area. House had all the supplies needed even for the extended stay. Zero complains with the house. Only fair warning was the long driveway leading up became inaccessible with a few feet of snow. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would come back.

We loved our stay! The home was beautiful and comfortable, kitchen well stocked with dishware, pots/pans, spices and basic cooking supplies (nothing in the fridge, so bring your own condiments). The deck was a wonderful place to have meals and relax.The couch and beds were very comfortable, all bathrooms were up-to-date with plenty of hot water, the bathtubs were nice for reading/relaxing. We had fun playing ping-pong and darts in the garage, and enjoyed the provided puzzles and games.To clarify the listing, bathrooms 1 and 2 are tub/shower combinations, not shower only. Also, we were under the impression that bed/bath 3 were downstairs, presumably because we didn't think three bathrooms would be on the same floor. But all the living space is on the upper floor. The Man Cave is a loft INSIDE the garage. It's not a separate room and there's no bathroom. There is no backyard -- the only outdoor space is the deck. Bedrooms 1 and 3 are huge, but the house itself is not quite as spaced out as we thought.There is an overhead fan in the living room and one plug-in fan provided in a bedroom. In summer, bring your own fans for the other two bedrooms. It would be nice to have another TV in bedroom 1. There's only one TV in the house unless you want to trek down to the Man Cave.Plan to bring your recycling home if you don't want to put it in the trash.Overall, a well-stocked house prioritizing comfort, but a little more compact than we expected for multiple families.

Great stay, lots of fun playing ping pong in garage with kids!

Really enjoyed this home. Would return. Love the area, close to things you want to do. Home is lovely, lots of nice touches. We had an exciting morning watching a mama bear climb up a tree after her cubs! Kids liked the bunk bed (but you should note it is short, wasn’t long enough for my eldest, but good for the littles). The man cave garage was great, we had a lot of fun playing ping pong together. The only thing I would change would be an on-site hot tub! Other than that, not many issues. (The dryer wasn’t drying out clothes at all, and one sink wasn’t draining, but we notified the property managers of this).

Great house

Efficient layout and feels bigger than 1600 SF. Really nice common area family room/kitchen/dining. Big garage and can accommodate many people with the bedroom setup. Great location and really nice large balcony. Couple other comments….many of the pots/pans were not well cleaned before we got there (annoying but not huge deal). Also the electric fireplace did not work the whole time we were there and they have no cable TV setup (but they have Smart TVs). Also like many houses in the area the driveway was a bit steep and challenging when a lot of snow on the ground. Overall great house though!

Beautiful Property

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It could do with some additions to make it winter ready (de-icing salt for the road, torches for power blackouts) and we had a few issues accessing the house when the drive was icy. However, on the whole we really enjoyed staying in the property.

3 Generation Getaway

Home was clean and lovely. Plenty of linens, cookware and pantry items. Each family had their own room and bathroom #win. The weather was warm (mid 80’s) so the deck brought some relief in the mornings and evenings. We brought 2 fans with us and wished we had more. The house has 1 ceiling fan and a/c but couldn’t cool down during the day even with shades down and deck umbrellas strategically placed by windows hence the 4 stars. However, our last day it rained and temps dropped to mid 60’s and the inside temp was pleasant. We all agreed winter in this home would be warm and cozy. Back to summer….The girls enjoyed sunbathing on the deck mid day. Everyone loved the garage as a second living space. It was cool despite the hot days. All ages loved this space! The dart board became our family favorite each evening. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and was safe for family walks. We are very thankful for the opportunity to stay in another family’s second home. We treated it with love and respect and cared for it like it was our own. Thanks again for a lovely time and forever family memories!

Beautiful Tahoe

We loved the house and location. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We loved the ping pong table and took advantage of all that Tahoe Donner HOA offerings. Our only improvement would be that the house stayed very warm at night. We opened windows in the evening but could not seem to cool it down. Thank you

Cozy and Clean

This house felt like home! It was warmly furnished with everything you could want for a weekend away. The “man cave” was a hit with our kids, and the ping pong table saved the day when we were stuck inside due to poor air quality from the forest fires north of the area. The kitchen was well equipped and there were many board & video games for the family. The deck was beautiful and we enjoyed it both for morning coffee and evening dinners. The location was perfect! Close to Truckee restaurants and Donner Lake, and 20-30 minutes away from Northstar, Squaw, and North Shore Tahoe beaches. We will definitely stay here again.
