The property is nicely decorated.the bed linens definitely need to be upgraded . The sheets are scratchy , need a higher thread count. We could see the ocean but to far away to hear the waves or to get the ocean breeze which was a little disappointing.

Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the décor of the condo and appreciate your feedback regarding the bedding. Regarding the view, we do want to clarify for future guests that the property description includes several photos showing the building's location in relation to the beach. The building is set back from the shoreline, with a very wide stretch of beach between the condo and the Gulf. While this provides beautiful panoramic beach and sunset views, the distance from the water naturally means that hearing the waves or consistently feeling an ocean breeze from the unit is not something guests should expect. We're pleased you were able to enjoy the ocean views and wish you well on your future travels.

Beautiful spot!

This unit was wonderful! Newly remodeled and furnished very nicely! The beds are also new and very comfy! We met other tenants that live in the building and they were very nice and helpful. I joined them at night on the beach to watch the beautiful sunsets!

Secluded and natural

The condo itself was beautiful and clean, with great amenities. The pool area was not kept up though. The beach area is not touristy at all. There are roped off sections for wildlife, which we loved. Beautiful sunsets. 5 minute drive to shops, restaurants, grocery store, drug store, and gas stations.

Hi Candy - it sounds like you had a great time! We're not sure why you left a 3 star review & work hard for eery guest; we strive for 5 star ratings. The beach is a long, more secluded stretch of beach which is great to avoid traffic & lots of people. Nesting season is of great importance and being protected, there are areas roped off as to not disturb the habitat. We're glad you had a great stay & enjoyed the condo!

3 bedroom condo very small.

3 bedroom condo very small. My granddaughter and friend used bedroom with full size bed for luggage. Think for the money I expected a little more room. Room was stocked very well enough towels supplies etc. beach wonderful and we liked the pool area.

Great place if you are looking to relax ONLY!

This was a great place for our 5 day girls trip. The place was exactly like it was advertised. Clean and well stocked. The only complaint we had was there was so much traffic. That you could t even get an Uber anywhere. The traffic is non stop! We ended up just walking to the closet bar and hanging out. We did end up getting an Uber our last night there but had to make the reservation in Naples super late… just to avoid traffic I liked the close beach proximity, however wish there was more to do closer. We enjoyed the sunsets every night on the beach. Another complaint was the key to get on the elevator… it’s 2022 your building needs to invest in a keypad! Other than those two things we had a great girls get away!

Great view and beach access but very tired inside and needs re-fit

The view and beach location are great. The apartment has been converted from a 2 bedroom to a very small 3 bedroom which has hugely compromised its space and comfort. The kitchen is now in the living room and it seems the units were moved from their previous location at least 10 x yrs ago. The bathrooms also need a total renovation. There are no restaurants within walking distance the closest is 1.1 miles away which can't be walked in the Florida sun. A previous renter complained about the patio door and not latching in January 2019. The management company said they would address it but when we arrived (March 2019) nothing had been done. Overall extremely disappointing - the owner has stated in previous reviews that she is charging a price to reflect the condition but after talking with others renting at the same time, the price we paid is consistent with superior units in this block. We have taken vacations from the UK to the USA more than 30 x times and without doubt this is the worst property we have ever stayed in by a big margin.

Family vacation

Location was great, we have never been to that area before. A little walk from condo to water but worth it. No one hardly there, very quiet. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed. It was my daughter and I and 2 grandkids, ages 7 & 9. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, sand toys and a few more we left and a well needed wagon to put everything in. Loved the grocery cart to bring all our groceries up to unit. Kitchen had more than enough dishes and pot & pans. Many spices and cleaning things probably left from previous guest. Since we were traveling by air we also left some unopened things for next guest like water, butter, Kleenex and even a frozen margarita!! We took a boat ride to see dolphins and went to a small island for shells. Like previous comments, the best and prettiest shells we found were right at our own beach!! Even found sand dollars. Only negative but not even that bad, pool a little small but again no one there most of the time. We also couldn’t get use to no cable TV. I like to listen to local news and weather every morning and night and either wasn’t available or we never figured out how to find it. I would definitely recommend this condo, was perfect for us.

Just Ok

There were a host of pros and cons for this property. The main pro is definitley the location. The beach is fabulous and the unit is located far enough from Ft. Myers Beach to not be congested but close enough to get there quickly when you want to. Also, the trolley service to the beach is great. Unfortunately the unit itself is pretty bad. One “bedroom” is a full size bed with 2 feet around it on 2 sides, no closet and a 2 drawer tiny dresser you can’t get to with your luggage - as it’s the only 2 square feet in the room to put your luggage as you have nowhere to unpack. The twin bed bedroom also has very little room to unpack and only one outlet. The hall bathroom is absolutely horrible. It is moldy and the shower feels like it’s going to collapse when you step into it. The shower is only a 1/4 circle shower and when you open the door to get in the floor outside gets soaked. The kitchen and living areas are fine. The master bedroom and en-suite are fine, although the shower had mold as well and it doesn’t drain well sonyoire standing in a foot of water as you shower. Overall this unit would be ok if you were only planning on using the master bedroom, otherwise it’s not really suitable. Basically the beach is fabulous but the unit needs a total renovation.

Property was nice and secluded

Area was nice. Construction out front on the road. Never used the pool which was on front side not the beachside. Beach was 4.5 football fields from condo. Next door to lovers key state park. It was across the inlet. Very quiet area with little traffic. Condo was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Positives clean and quiet. Condo well stocked. Could have used a flashlight because lost power. Negatives was a lot of construction in front of condo that we were not aware of. Elevator broke and we were on fourth floor. Overall very satisfied. Beach has tons of beautiful shells.

Comfortable and Quiet

We came from Western Pennsylvania to spend time with our daughter who lives in Tampa. We wanted alone time with her after being apart for over 3 years. We were looking for comfort and quiet...we got both! The remodeling is fantastic, such a beach feel. I am partially handicapped and at 73 face challenges when we travel. We rented a beach wheelchair to get me to the beach. It is quite the walk to the water, but what a peaceful beach it is. The view from the screened porch is awesome. As a note to those who are older and not steady on their feet, the master shower is beautiful but dangerous. The floor gets slippery when it gets soapy and there is nothing to hold onto. I would suggest a shower mat and a help bar. We have traveled a lot in our lives and this was one of the most beautiful and comfortable condos we have ever stayed in. Thank you for the experience.

Great Condo

We enjoyed our stay at Castle Beach in Ft. Myers. My only complaint was that the beach did not look like it did in the pics. Covered in grass and stickers vs. beautiful raked sand. They were starting the process to remove the grass the day we were leaving.

Regarding the beach area that was roped off, that area is required by law to be left as wildlife preserve area during the months of April - September; as you may have seen, birds & turtles specifically nest there and are protected. Because of this neither we, the owner or the condo association are allowed to touch the area. While it does use some of the sandy beach space here and in other areas around the county, it is beautiful to see! We welcome you all again!

The condo is on the 4th floor overlooking the beach. Condo is newly renovated and well equipped. It has a small balcony where you can watch sunsets. Entrance is a little confusing.

Awesome place to stay

Clean, Beautiful room! Beautiful view! Quiet, secure place to stay. Was just what we were looking for! The only suggestion I would make, is having a ceiling fan in the bedrooms and living room to help keep the air moving! Other than that, we loved everything about it!

Just What I Needed.

Overall experience was everything we needed. Thank You.. The view was brilliant. The long walk got old, but it lead to a very well social distancing experience as opposed to the beaches shown on the recent news. Georgious condo, beach & view. The noise from construction was quite noticeable. Very surprised about being told we could not use the swimming pool after watching the sunset. It was 700 pm. Really? We paid a LOTof money for the property. I could understand if it was 11, there were no kids, we just wanted to swim some laps. It was a special occasion, and when we opened our wine, we discovered there was not one wine glass in the condo? wow. I did inquire on military discount, but they did not offer one.

You can walk right from the ground floor of the condo down the sandy beach to the water; the views are incredible! We hadn't heard of noise from road repairs prior to your feedback, but we're glad you enjoyed your time otherwise! The pool hours & rules are set by the condo association & unfortunately nothing we or the owner have control over. Regarding wine glasses, we spoke with housekeeping & there are glasses in the unit in a couple of different places so you may have missed them; we'd have been more than happy to help if we'd known you were having trouble. Beautiful beach condo

Love love loved this condo on the beach. very comfortable and very clean. Location was perfect and away from the crowded fort Myers downtown, but a short drive to get there. Lovers key was a short drive or a nice walk ti get to from our beach. The beach there was absolutely beautiful and quiet. We will definitely be back next year. We hated to leave the beautiful view from the balcony, where we ate most of our meals. I have old many people and will tell many more about this gem on the beach!! Tom and Wendy Whiting
