Peaceful 3-Bedroom Country Farmhouse Situated on 125 Acre Horse Farm

The Farmhouse at Lindwood offers 3-bedroom and 2-full bathrooms with enough space to accommodate up to 6 guests.

The house combines the old fashion charm of a farmhouse with modern comforts such as WiFi, Smart TV's, Washer & Dryer, and Air Conditioning. For those that love to cook, prepare a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen then gather around the large dining room table to enjoy your family dinner.

However you spend your time while at The Farmhouse at Lindwood, this peaceful property will quickly become your home away from home.

The farmhouse is located on a real working horse farm, so from time to time you will see farm equipment during your stay and if you happen to be here between January and June, you may have the opportunity to witness the birth of a foal.

Enjoy the beauty of the horses and farm views from almost every room in the house. Guests have use of the entire farmhouse with the exception of the attic, basement and garage.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the property, walking trails, and farm fish pond. Guests are not permitted inside the horse pastures or barns unless accompanied by the property hosts. Walking up to the horse fence to view the horses is permitted. Fishing is allowed at the farm pond, but all fish must be caught and released. Sorry, but we do not allow swimming at the farm pond.

For our equestrian guests, Lindwood Farm offers a place to board your horse during your stay.

We are conveniently located near ski resorts, golf courses, white water rafting, amusement parks, casinos, bike trails, breweries, wineries and the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Less than an hour drive from Pittsburgh and just minutes away from local shopping and restaurants.

No parties, events or outside guests permitted unless approved in advance by the property hosts. Smoking is prohibited (this includes smoking, vaping, ALL tobacco products, and e-cigarettes.) Children must be supervised at all times.

The Farmhouse at Lindwood does not allow pets.

Absolutely beautiful place. The owners were responsive and super friendly. We had plenty of space for two young kids to play and explore. The sunroom was great and we got views of the horses on the property. The space was very clean and had everything we needed. We would live to come back and stay again! I would highly recommend this place to others.

Farmhouse stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse and Gina was a terrific host. She was very communicative throughout our entire stay, met us upon arrival (it was late in the evening too) for a quick tour, and provided us with some helpful local recommendations for meals. We'd definitely book here again if we're back in the area.

Graduation Weekend

It was great! Gina was a wonderful host and offered to give us a tour around the property. Unfortunately we were unable to do so, but the property and horses were beautiful. The farmhouse was comfortable and we really enjoyed the enclosed back porch. If we are back in this area and need a place to stay, we won’t hesitate to stay here.

The Farmhouse at Lindwood Farm was chosen primarily for its location but as we found out there was so very much more. Absolutely one of the most comfortable homes I have ever stayed in. You immediately felt at home the moment you entered the door. All furnishings were very comfortable; the kitchen very well stocked; rooms very clean. Peaceful, relaxing, and a fabulous back porch!But I can’t say enough about our hosts - the Hoffman’s. They went out of their way to make sure our stay and gathering had everything we needed and were quick to respond when we had questions. They even provided a farm tour for our guests. I can’t thank them enough for everything. I will certainly stay there again and highly recommend.

The Farmhouse was extremely welcoming and well-stocked. Gina even gave us a beautiful tour of the property one morning and we got to feed the horses some treats. There are plenty of towels and warm blankets for the cold weather. The gorgeous location on the farm is peaceful and serene and the location was perfect for us visiting with family in Greensburg. We will certainly be back to stay at the Farmhouse next time we’re in PA!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It is in a beautiful, peaceful location with views of the horses right outside of the window. Gina was an incredible host; she even took my family on a golfcart tour of the horse farm and then later her son gave my kiddos a tractor ride. The house was clean, had everything you'd need, and the beds were very comfortable. I have nothing bad to say - it was a wonderful stay, and we are so grateful for Gina's hospitality.
