New! LaMoyne's Place - Charming 2-bedroom cottage in the B&B capitol of Texas

LaMoyne’s Place is within the historic district of Jefferson and an easy walk to local restaurants and shopping. LaMoyne’s is perfect for a couple, small family or girls getaway! This 1940s house has been meticulously updated inside and out! You will enjoy a living room with large smart tv and Netflix or login to your own apps. The kitchen is equipped with Big Chill appliances and enough dishes and cooking equipment for any meals you choose to make (but why would you?! It’s Jefferson with some of the best restaurants to enjoy!). There is a washer and dryer for your use in the twin bedroom. The outdoor patio includes a propane grill and gas firepit. Max of four people. Additional fee is for any guest over two guests that sleeps in a bed. No additional fee for infants who sleep in your pack n play type bed. If you need to use my pack n play, please let me know. I would appreciate the age/sex of each child so I can have the space set up properly. House is available except for an owner’s closet in each bedroom. She-shed is off limits as is the garage. Park on any street on this corner lot. *Please note this property has stairs at all entrances and is not handicap accessible.

Perfect Home. Perfect Location. This charming home was full of decor, whimsy, and details meant to make you feel at home and it certainly did! The owner was very thoughtful in her amenities and the location was ideal and close to historical downtown.Would give her 10 stars!!

The location was ideal, convenient access to downtown Jefferson for shopping & dining. Also near grocery store.The interior of the house was welcoming & cozy. Comfortable beds & nice living area to visit in. The host went above & beyond in the attention to the details. Snacks, beverages, breakfast food in the fridge. Toiletries & necessities in the bathroom. The host always replied quickly to questions we had & shared favorite dining places. Hopefully we’ll be back in the spring & LaMoynes place will be available for another stay!

Everything at your fingertips!

Hostess thought of everything a person might need. House was immaculate, furnishings awesome, ambiance peaceful. Within walking distance of downtown. Looking forward to staying here every time we journey to Jefferson!

Girls weekend

Three of us wanted to get away and shop antiques for the weekend. The house was adorable, well stocked and spotless! The host was available when needed and was very responsive. It was a hot weekend but we were still able to walk the downtown area. We will be back!

Girl trip. This VRBO made it perfect. The house is adorable. We had excellent communication with the owner. The house is perfectly clean. I have stayed in a lot of homes but never one this well equipped the house is beautiful, the yard is beautiful. I literally don’t have one negative thing to say. I will definitely stay here again.

We had the best weekend! This house is perfect!! The stocked groceries and toiletries and essentials, the labels for everything so no looking around or wondering where things are; she even put earplugs and charge cords by each bed. Such a great selection of books, a huge TV with so many streaming options, and the beds are so comfortable! There is a guide to Jefferson and all the stores and menus
 It’s just so cute and comfortable, and so clean we could’ve eaten off the floor! This is the most thoughtful and best host we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything!

Wonderful experience

Janet really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home and that you don’t waste any time at the grocery store during your stay. Everything is fully stocked, bed was comfy, backyard was gorgeous. You’re within walking distance of everything in town. Just excellent experience all around. Came with a strong recommendation from my mom and did not disappoint. We will both be repeat customers I have no doubt. 5 stars for sure.

The whole stay was lovely, starting with the warm welcome from the host, through comfortable retro decor (the fantastic humongous TV wasn’t retro!), and the obvious care the host had that we felt special. Everything was sparkling clean and ready for a relaxing stay. Even on a cold day there was plenty to do in the town. James and Kathy would love to come back. Thank you Janet.
