We arrived Friday evening, and the downstairs bathroom was our first impression of the property, which unfortunately was not a pleasant one. We immediately encountered two spiders and several other bugs/insects on the floor. All alive and moving I might add. At that point, we decided we were not comfortable staying there. We grabbed our bags and made our way to the Hampton Inn a few minutes down the road. I would definitely recommend having pest control come out and giving the cabin a thorough cleaning. Your customer service and communication throughout the process were great, and I really appreciated the check-ins throughout. I just think the Hideaway Cabin could use some attention and a little sprucing up to make the overall guest experience match the level of customer service you provide.I wanted to share the feedback honestly in hopes that it is helpful for future guests. Thank you again for your communication and kindness.

Great stay in a beautiful Cabin

The Village Hideaway was the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The bedrooms were cozy, the bathrooms clean, and the furniture, wall panels and fireplace were beautiful. The cabin was walking distance to fun activities and good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this cabin to stay in when you visit Big Bear Lake. I look forward to coming back soon!

5 Great cabins at a reasonable price!

Our favorite cabin that we rent each time we visit Big Bear Lake! Elizabeth is my go to person each time I reserve a cabin or any issues I may have! Elizabeth and the rest of the BBCC Team provide exceptional Customer Service! Truly a very pleasurable experience each time we visit!

Cozy cabin near the village

We enjoyed the cleanliness and warmth of this cute cottage. It's great because it's close to the village but note there is no real yard anywhere for this property. The ladies at Big Bear Cool Cabins and their after hours customer service (Luigi) were fast, supportive and kind. Our trip was off to a rough start but the staff at BBCC were wonderful.

Last minute trip to the snow

It was nice to be walking distance to town and the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and was just like the photos.

Nice cabin, lots of room, very clean. The location, though, is amazing! Walking distance to everything you need or want. Would come again.

Nice way to bring in the new year!

My little family of 4+small dog enjoyed our stay. Perfect size for us in a great location. A little outdated but comfortable enough. Would consider staying here again.

Clean and cozy. Great location in the heart of the village and two blocks from one of the marinas

I would definitely recommend this cabin. It is better than the pictures. Slept the 5 in our party with plenty of rooms. Very quiet considering the location.

Village Charmer

The cabin is clean and cozy with plenty of amenities. Furnished like a hotel with fresh linens and basic toiletries as well as a full sized kitchen outfitted with pots, pans, dishes and a dinette you literally feel you are in your home away from home. A short walk later you are in the heart of the village with shops and restaurants at your fingertips. A wonderful retreat.

Easy, and short walk to the village. Plenty of things to do close by.

Nice for our purposes. The only drawback is that we did not realize that the unit did not have a washer/dryer, so we needed to request extra bath & wash towels.

Cozy Getaway

Cabin is exactly as listed. It was perfect size for a small family. Only downfall was it wasn’t fully clean in the bathrooms when we arrived. The lighting was dim in the family room but cool cabins brought in another lamp right away when we made note of it. We had a great time, loved the location and all of the snow that came while we were there. Will definitely come back for another trip!

Overall we love the location of the cabin. The easy walk downtown is perfect especially with kids. Everything else is a short drive away. The only thing that was a bit of a pain were the beds, a little on the soft side. Other than that the location was cleaned. Found some random rat feces but nothing a quick clean couldn't fix.

One adult and 3 teen girls. Enough space for all of us. Great location to Walk to village & bowling. House is on the older side. Could use some updates. Girls liked the games.

Cute, clean, easy check in.

Rented this cabin in Big Bear because my husband was participating in the Big Bear Triathlon. It was clean and had most amenities a person would need. The location was excellent: a short 1 block walk to the Village and 2 blocks from the Tri staging area and lake access. Would have given 5 stars if: being a "pet friendly" rental, it would've had a fully fenced yard and had been mowed; maybe a window AC unit as it was a hot weekend; if it had a BBq. Overall it was a great experience and the staff at the check-in location were great!
