In the bohemian commune of El Pescadero, you’ll find stunning ocean sunsets, surf, birdsong, and plentiful dining opportunities. The interior aesthetic is Scandinavian minimalism meets Baja design. Creamy whites and neutral tones act as a canvas for the vibrant accent pillow from local artisans. The bungalow is outfitted with a king size bed, lounge area, and a fully equipped modern kitchen for dining. Whether you’re stocking the ample fridge/freezer with fresh fruit and seafood, or blending mezcalitas around the center island, the efficient kitchen is ready for both happy hour and a dinner date. The shower has vertical windows that fill the space with natural light, and a massaging stone floor. In keeping with Casa Hygge’s sustainability initiatives, the toiletries and cleaning products are eco-friendly. Other amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV (Roku), internet, indoor and outdoor private lounge areas, and a gated parking space. Our Bungalow at Casa Hygge features an upstairs for lounging in the afternoon with a great book, a glass of wine, and sunset shows to take your breath away.

We want you to feel at home and enjoy the hygge atmosphere inside as well as out. Our common area in the center of the property has an inviting pool for dipping, sipping, and sunning. In our game room at the clubhouse, you’ll find a pool table, boardgames, darts, and a comfortable lounge for socializing or reading your favorite book.

Above the clubhouse, you’ll find the open-air sky gym and yoga deck, perfect for a sweaty afternoon workout or sunrise meditation. Around the grounds of Casa Hygge, you can relax in the hammocks hung between the palms, and lounge areas around the central gardens, enjoy the evening by the firepit and stargazing from the roof patios.

The area of El Pescadero offers something for everyone. Looking for adventure? Take a hike. Want to chill? Relax by the pool or take a beach walk. Want to indulge in local flavors? Check out a few of our favorite restaurants: Hierbabuena, Agricole Cocina, Barracuda Cantina, Mini Super Munchies, and Comuna for coffee.

The surf beach of San Pedrito is a quick 22-minute walk west down our dirt road.
For swimming beaches, head south 10-minutes via highway 19 to Cerritos. The charming town of Todos Santos, just a 12-minute drive to the north, offers local shopping, dining, and exploring. During the winter season be sure to check out the Mercado Ranchero, the local artisan and food farmer’s market on Saturdays.

El Pescadero is the perfect central location to enjoy all the magic Baja California Sur has to offer. Cabo San Lucas, San Jose Del Cabo, La Paz and the sea of Cortez are all about an hour away by car if you want to explore more. We suggest getting ‘lost’ on the dusty beach roads and taking in the Baja haze.
