A Fun Ferme pour tous

Notre maison est dans la charmante ville de Great Barrington et ses nombreux magasins et restaurants uniques. Il est très près des montagnes pour le ski (Ski Butternut est à 2 minutes) et la randonnée pédestre et à proximité de nombreux parcs et lacs (Mansfield, Garfield, Buel). Il est près de l'art et de la culture des lieux, y compris Tanglewood et le musée Norman Rockwell; et à proximité de nombreux établissements de santé et de bien-être tels que Kripalu et Canyon Ranch. Lorsque le temps se réchauffe, utiliser notre grande piscine et des terrains de balayage.

Nous appelons notre maison "The Fun Farm" en raison des nombreux équipements ludiques à la fois dans et à l'extérieur, y compris la télévision par câble à grand écran, jeux DVD, et vidéo, des tables de ping-pong et de hockey sur air, jeu de trou de maïs, 1 acre de la propriété pour explorer, raquettes, luge; balançoires et jeux de plein air; grill et piscine chauffée et meubles de piscine en été.

Ceci est une chambre 4 qui peut accueillir +7 personnes. La chambre principale et salle de bain est au rez-de-chaussée et les 3 autres chambres, salle de jeux (méridienne double incl) est à l'étage w / une autre salle de bain complète. Le bas a un étage plan ouvert et est confortable w / seulement quelques-uns pour beaucoup de gens.

Perfect Stay!

My family and I were in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for us. It was close to town (5 min ride) which is where the church was the reception was at the mountain which was a 2 minute ride. The house was clean and the owners were great to work with!!! Already looking to rent again for a snowy winter weekend with friends!

Fun House

This house is a great vacation if you have children. They had everything to do in this house from games, pool, slides, tree house and more! The host was great and if I had any questions she always answered me. The location of the house was amazing and just 5 minutes from town. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing summer getaway!

We had such a wonderful time at Josh and Dorothy’s lovely home. It was spacious and a gorgeous setting. We have 2 young children and they loved the pool and all of the activities. It’s also just a short distance to restaurants/shops. It is a special place and we’d love to book again!

Perfect for a family trip!

We travelled with 6 adults and 2 small children (ages 5 & 7). Each couple had their own room and kids shared a room, and each had their own bed. Ping pong, air hockey, swimming pool, trampoline - we were delighted by all the activities. Close to Great Barrington & lots of great food options in the area. We had a lovely time!

Spacious and Best Ski Location

Stayed here with our family for a terrific ski week. Location is less than 3 mins to Ski Butternut. House was clean and even more spacious than the pictures show. The kids loved the playroom and air hockey table. Owners were easy to work with. We ate all our meals at the house and the kitchen pretty much had everything we needed.

Magical!

It was like living in a snowglobe for the month of January. The accommodations far exceeded expectations from pictures. It is spacious, flooded with natural light, clean and a “smart” home. It is an older home with lots of character, modern updates and plenty of sources to keep you warm on cold nights. The best part was being 2 minutes from Butternut one way and 2 minutes from town the other way. We enjoyed many hikes in the area, ice skating in Monterey and ice fishing in Sheffield. If you have a children, this will be a dream home for them with the playroom, the entertainment in home and the amenities on property. There is a hill that is perfect for sleigh riding, too! If you do not have children, the playroom was clean, organized and away from the main living area, so you will feel comfortable also. I cannot think of one thing we were missing for a month. We arrived late and check in was easy, the hosts were gracious and easy to contact. We will 100% be back.

The house is large, open, comfortable and clean. It's stocked with lots of toys for kids and also fun games for adults like ping pong and air hockey. There's a lot of great outdoor space as well. The owners were very accessible during our stay.

Wonderful Getaway

Despite the weather being less than ideal this MDW, we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in the Berkshires. The house was as advertised and incredibly close to everything in Great Barrington. Unfortunately, it was raining all weekend so we were confined indoors. I would love to return when the weather is nicer! Check-in/check-out was simple and everything we could ever need was provided!

Perfect place for a family friend getaway

Post vaccinations, we rented this home with another family, so we were 4 adults and 3 kids under 2. We all slept well and had our own spaces, the playroom was amazing and provided hours of entertainment for the toddler, and the common spaces - kitchen, living room, and outdoor - were perfect for the adults to hang out in. It's just a few minutes from main street and so we enjoyed getting out, too!

The property is an awesome split of fun and relaxation. There is an endless amount of things to do within the house for all ages. It is also very centrally located. The overall experience was fantastic.

The Family, Fun, Farmhouse

The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped with toys and games for a fun family time. Great for cooking in and eating together. Great Barrington has a nice downtown and some good restaurants. Grocery store nearby. Hiking, Skiing. Good for comfortable, family fun times.

Perfect for our family

We are a family of five with teenage children and spent our spring break here. The house is very centrally located to hiking and other local attractions. It is comfortable and fully stocked. We spent a lot of time playing air hockey and using the large yard. The AV system in the main living room was a surprising bonus for us as we like to watch movies together.

Great House near Butternut.

More to the house than we even know we signed up for. Perfect for us as we were skiing at the Nut which is 2 minutes away. Handy tips on places to find meals. Super comfortable. Ping pong, Air hockey, etc. Wonderful.

Great Getaway in Great Barrington

We enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse very much. Cozy evenings in front of the fireplace, room for the kids to spread out, great yard and super close to skiing. Highly recommend.

Very close to Butternut for easy skiing, and traveling back and forth

Fun house with a wonderful old stone fireplace. Easy kitchen to cook in. Large open space for 4 adults and 2 children. Five minute access to Butternut Ski slopes and ten Great Barrington. Fun playing ping pong and air hockey in the middle of the space. House is close to the road, none of us had a problem with the noise and slept well.
