All Year Retreat - Indoor Heated Pool, Beach, Game & Movie Cottage, Sleeps 21

First Floor
You walk into a large kitchen fit for cooking and entertaining a crowd. A Wolf triple oven and gas stove, huge Sub Zero fridge and separate beverage fridge, two sinks, two dishwashers, warming drawer etc… including all of the cooking essentials you need, plates, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, and more. There's a dedicated coffee bar with flat drip and Keurig pod modes we stock with enough to get you started on your trip as well! There is a large island and kitchen table with seating for 10. The kitchen feeds into the den with a 55 inch TV and beautiful marble carved fireplace. Beyond the den is the huge joint dining and family room. There is a 10 foot dining room table that can sit 12-14 with amazing views of the river. The family room includes a comfy sectional couch with 65 inch tv for gatherings. The family room leads into the huge indoor, heated, salt water pool which will give your family and friends entertainment for hours any time of year. The pool starts around 4 feet in the shallow end and goes to 6 feet deep. The 6 person hot tub is located right outside the dining room/family room external door, making it easy to access with still great views of the Potomac.

There are three king bedrooms on the first floor. First the master with an en-suite bathroom (two sinks, walk in shower and huge soaking tub), the master bedroom has a king bed, TV, chaise lounge and desk for in case you need to work while you’re visiting, although we don’t recommend it! The second bedroom also has a king size bed, dresser and regular sized crib (we also have a pack n play available). The third bedroom has a queen bed and these two bedrooms share the hall full bathroom. There is also a spacious laundry room on the first floor with full size washer and dryer which are available to guests.

Second Floor
There are three bedrooms on the second floor:
Pirate Room: Full bed and two twins and dresser
Mermaid Room: Queen bed, two twins, dresser, desk and large TV for kid movie nights
Coral Room: 2 queen beds and dresser

The bedrooms share the hall bathroom with plenty of towel storage and a shower.

Third Floor
Blackbeard the pirate used to sail right to the pond behind the home to hide from his enemies. Walk up to the Pirate’s Watch is on the third floor which is a great hangout spot, includes a TV, game table and built in seating for reading or catching up. It also has the best views of the water and surrounding area.

The Hideout Cottage
The cottage is where kids go to play and adults can get away! The detached two bedroom area cottage has a full dedicated kitchen, full bathroom and giant movie and game room. There's a 100 inch 4k tv with 5.1 surround sound and Apple TV to stream all your favorite movies and shows with seating space for a large group. For the gamer, there's an Xbox Series S with Logitech Racing Wheel, a retro full size arcade cabinet with every classic arcade game ever made, a full size virtual pinball machine with dozens of tables, a virtual board game table with nearly every classic board game and an entire bookcase full of real board games, puzzles and more. The upstairs loft of the hideout has two twin XL beds, and the movie room can be converted over to two queen size beds making it perfect for an extra family or kids camp out space. The screened in porch is the perfect spot to hang out at night.

Outside
The property around the house is fantastic. There is a large front and back yard with a hot tub that fits 6-7 and an outdoor fit pit with relaxing Adirondack chairs. The river is mere steps from the house. There is a wide private beach for guests, kids will love finding shells and sea glass in between building sand castles and swimming in the water. The water is mostly clear with a sandy bottom. There is also a fisherman's walk at the end of the dock perfect for avid fishers. The luxury decking material, HDPE, keeps lower temps for bare feet in the hot weather. There is a foot washing station next to the hot tub/back entrance. Other fun amenities like kayaks, canoes, hammocks etc... will all be around for guests to enjoy and of course a grill too!

Events & Weddings
We have partnered with a marina just a mile down the street that can host any size weddings and parties on its massive beach with outdoor pool. We do not allow additional people to hang out or stay at the house than is part of the house rental. It is a quiet neighborhood and cannot hold larger groups without disturbing neighbors. We can work with you on booking the marina space for your event.

Parking
There are several spots for parking cars, please keep all vehicles on the gravel and avoid any parking on grass.
