PH08 Penthouse w/ Private Rooftop Gulf, Bay & Lazy River Views Beach Access

Destin West Pelican Penthouse 8 has stunning views of Lazy River, Choctawhatchee Bay and Gulf of Mexico. Suite includes one bedroom, one bunk area and two bathrooms and is furnished with a double-decker balcony and private rooftop lounge.

Penthouse includes a master en suite, alcove with bunk beds, living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and in-unit washer and dryer. Each room includes an entertainment center and personal storage. The master en suite is decorated with a full-size bed, entertainment center, Gulf front views, and private balcony access.

Condo offers free Wi-Fi and a double-decker, panoramic balcony for fantastic views of the island. Guests enjoy beach and bay access at the resort as well as pools and hot tubs on bay and gulf sides and Lazy River. Monthly stays are not permitted at this time.

Awesome stay at the condo with Destin West Vacations. The condo was exactly as advertised and clean. Location was perfect within walking distance of the boardwalk and a short drive to Destin. The pools were perfect and beach access was spot on. There were employees around at the service desk and pool area to assist. Communication from host ahead of stay was clear, timely and accurate. The condo itself could probably use some minor updates cosmetically but that’s to be expected. We had a small issue with an appliance that was no one’s fault but the service desk was on it immediately and got it taken care of with a friendly maintenance person. We look forward to returning!

Great vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall wonderful vacation experience. There were a few things that could have been better but we did not even complain to management about it. Sheets in master were beady and should be replaced.Base of toilet was not clean and was “yellow”. Dust on wall hangings indicates that a more thorough cleaning is needed from time to time.Sand fleas on roof & balconies- not a lot, but we did get some bites.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was not cleaned properly. Looked like the cleaning team was in a hurry and swiped over things to call them clean in the kitchen. Found several dirty dishes. Broken blender ( when I called, front desk said it wasn't up to them it was on the owner to replace. One of the two chairs on the master bedroom balcony was broken and the other one is needing replaced due to rust about to break also. Fire/smoke detector was hanging and they removed it the first day and never put one back in the unit (DANGEROUS) LOVE the view and the decor was neat and appropriate for creating vacation atmosphere. Love the location and the pool. Staff were all very nice.
