The Space:

Welcome to the Guesthouse, a modern ranch-style home with spectacular Hill Country views. Located on Jumping Goat Ranch, this newly built, private 3br/2ba is truly a retreat to relax and reconnect.



The guesthouse offers a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area, and a luxurious king-size bed. The wrap-around porch is the perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise. At night, enjoy the private hot tub, beautiful Texas sunset, and incredible stargazing by the firepit. All a quick 15 minutes from Fredericksburg’s historic Main St and 10 minutes to award-winning wineries. Hosted by Porch Light Hospitality.

Highly HIGHLY recommended!! Took a girl’s trip to Fredericksburg for my wife’s 30th birthday. Gorgeous house with a generous wrap around porch, hot tub and NICE place for a fire - complete with chairs, all 15ish minutes away from downtown.The management company was super clear with their welcome instructions and when we asked for more propane for the grill, someone was there ASAP to swap it out for us. Loved that we had 2 bathrooms and 3 different rooms and lots of desk areas if you want to draw or use a laptop. Could totally see us booking this one again. We really loved it!

Jumping Goat Ranch is a beautiful property with several rentals places of all sizes. We stayed at the Guesthouse, which is near the main residence. It was very private and well situated on the property, taking advantage of a gorgeous, hill-side view. We thoroughly enjoyed the porch in the morning and evening, as well as the spacious, beautiful home. It is impeccably decorated, yet very welcoming. We will definitely consider staying here again when visiting the Fredericksburg area.

To begin, I must express my profound admiration for the accommodations we recently enjoyed. We shared the property with another couple, and it proved to be an ideal size for our group of four. The view was breathtaking, and the overall cleanliness was exceptional. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the panoramic view was simply stunning.After a day of sightseeing and visiting Brooke’s Bubble Bar, the hot tub provided a welcome respite. It was particularly enjoyable to observe the playful donkeys and graceful deer roaming nearby.Our sole recommendation is to install a wooden walkway between the stairs and the hot tub for enhanced safety and convenience. We will be back in 2026!!

Our stay was excellent! One thing, which isn’t a huge deal, is there is a loud ‘click’ noise when first putting pressure on the bed in the master bedroom. This seemed to happen from both sides of the bed, but once settling in, the bed didn’t make noises. Additionally one of the brown stools at the kitchen counted needs to be thightened up or repaired. Other than those 2 extremely minor items, that was it. This in no way took anything away from our stellar experience, but something I feel the property owner should know about.. Thank you for everything!!

The cabin is in a great location. It’s close to Fredericksburg, but far enough away to avoid the crowds . It’s a quiet place where we were able to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the Texas sunsets. The beds were super comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed during our stay . Plus , there are some adorable mini donkeys on the property!
