We're located in the cozy Sunsail neighborhood, with easy access to Highway 98 to come and go to local restaurants, shopping, and activities. Our modern coastal cozy vibe will be your home away from home, welcoming you back year after year!



The Space:

***PLEASE NOTE: Due to HOA regulations, we are unable to host student groups or groups under the age of 25 at this home.***



We’re excited to offer our four-passenger golf cart complimentary for guests booking during the off-season (November through February)! During peak season (March through October), the four-passenger golf cart is available as an add-on for $375 + tax per week, per stay. Make your beach getaway even better with a golf cart - the easiest and most fun way to explore the area! (Insured & licensed drivers over 25 only please!)

You'll be in awe from the moment you walk in at the open-air feel of the home as natural light encompasses the entry way and living room area from just about every angle of the room. Our modern and beachy home is inviting and fun, boasting sea life artwork that will catch your eye in every room. Make sure to check out the captivating "Selfie Corner" with the large elongated mirror in the hallway, and don't forget to take your selfie with Finn the Sea Turtle!



Walking into the living area you'll see our custom teal couches and swivel chairs, with plenty of space for your group to enjoy kicking back at the end of a long day in the sun. The chef in your family will enjoy being a part of the day-to-day with the kitchen being open to the living space. We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, kids cutlery, cups, and plastic dishes for our tiny travelers as well! Our breakfast bar completes the kitchen space, with kitchen stools to enjoy a light meal or an after the pool snack! Our dining area is also a part of the open layout, with a desk available to those who need access to "work from home".

Right off the kitchen, find our full sized washer and dryer, as well as the entrance to the garage, which doubles as a bonus game room. Have a competitive game of ping pong on our custom built ping pong table, see who can shoot the most hoops playing the indoor basketball game, or setup the cornhole boards in the driveway for a rivaling game with the fam!



Directly off of the living and dining area is the master bedroom with a King bed, another desk to work from, and an attached ensuite bathroom. Down the hall, to the left, guests can find the bunk room. Here we've created a great space for the kids with Twin-over-Queen bunks, with a Twin trundle, a Smart TV, and plenty of space for luggage storage in the closet! Across the hall from the bunk room, guests can find a conveniently located full bathroom. A shower and tub, toilet, and sink with counter space make it easy to get ready for the day. The next bedroom is located on the left hand side of the hallway as well. It comes complete with a Queen bed, a Smart TV, and ample closet and dresser space. The final bedroom is down the hall to the right and has a King bed, a Smart TV, a full length mirror for getting ready, a large closet, and dresser space.



Our quaint back patio offers a comfy outdoor sofa to kick back while you and the family grill burgers on our Weber grill (propane provided). Steps Away is certainly where we envision guests making many memories.



While we are within a brisk walk to public beach access points along Scenic Highway 98, we always recommend our guests take full advantage of the exclusive deals we're able to offer for a street legal four-passenger golf cart rental during your stay. Not only is it fun to cruise around in, but it takes the dread out of lugging all your beach items along on a walk. Our community is very golf cart friendly, and it can be driven on any road 35MPH & below, giving you easy access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants without the hassle of loading everyone in the car!



For parking, we can accommodate up to two vehicles. Street parking isn’t permitted.



Guest Access:

• You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in.

• PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so we must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!



The Neighborhood:

You are in the cozy Sunsail neighborhood, and super close to the Destin Commons with plenty of shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. The Silver Sands Outlets are within a few minutes drive East with more shopping, restaurants, and a play area for kids. There are plenty of public beach accesses close by within walking/golf cart distance.



Getting Around:

• We love taking the golf cart to pretty much anywhere around this area. During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction! You can definitely take a short walk to the beach, and it is almost always easier than driving around looking for parking! Grocery delivery is also available in our area from local grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Publix, WinnDixie, Walmart, and Target via InstaCart or Shipt.

• Airport Distances:

Destin FL (VPS) - 18 miles

Panama City FL (ECP) - 48 miles

Pensacola FL (PNS) - 76 miles



Other Things to Note:

• We are pet friendly for up to 2 dogs per booking, but we do charge a $200 pet fee. Only house trained pets are permitted, and if planned to leave unattended they must be crated to avoid damage. It is required to clean up after your pet, both inside and out, or additional fees will be assessed. ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are subject to the pet fee, as they do not fall under ADA compliant service animal requirements.

• Our cleaners supply a courtesy supply of toiletries for roughly the first day or so of your stay (toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, bar soap, laundry soap, dish detergent) but guests are responsible for any additional supplies needed. We do not stock spices, oils, sunscreen, food storage (Ziplocs, foil, etc.) so please plan accordingly if you'll need these items.

• We do provide beach towels for guests to use poolside or at the beach, as we ask guests to please not use any white towels in these spaces. Any other beach/pool items are not provided or guaranteed.

• Golf cart use is not permitted for use by guests under age 25 (insurance reasons) and unfortunately no exceptions can be made. Drivers must be licensed and insured, and sign the waiver prior to use.
