This 1300 sqft charming chalet in Crescent City is perfect for your escape. Entire 2 nd story converted into private residence with private entrance and deck. 1-bedroom retreat features a cozy queen memory foam bed decorated in a magical forest/ cottage core design.A spacious separate living room with a convenient queen size murphy bed, in addition a Queen size air mattress available for additional guest for a total of 6 max guest stay. Bathroom in bedroom with a shower . Body wash/shampoo/ conditioner provided. Separate kitchenette with a smaller apartment size refrigerator , small oven / air fryer/ toaster combo unit , microwave,hot plate and coffee bar with variety of coffee pods also a French press & a tea kettle. Dining room table seats 6, WiFi, heating, AC, & more, guests will have everything they need for a terrific stay. Nestled in a serene magical setting, This semi rural property is beautiful & peaceful. The perfect place to unwind after the long drive or Hike.

Jamie was very nice and welcoming. we even got fresh laid eggs in the morning. Just a few miles to J. Smith state park. Titan Grove and Stout Grove, are must see.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Chalet in the Majestic Redwoods! We stayed for two nights while exploring Redwood State and National Parks, and the location was perfect for our plans. The house is cozy and small, yet it provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host and her husband were warm, welcoming, and very responsive, and they even shared excellent recommendations for hiking trails in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park as well as local restaurants. Overall, the house met and exceeded our expectations, and we especially loved the aesthetic and eclectic touches throughout the space. We would happily stay here again!

Jamie was a great host, great communication and had the place warm and ready for my arrival. The place is spacious and lovely. The couch and bed were very comfortable. Sleeping in a forest themed bedroom in the forest is a fun touch! I would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is a gem! Located in a quiet area within minutes of Redwoods National and State Park and across the street from a County Park with a beach and picnic area. The apartment has several updated amenities so we were able to prepare meals quite easily. Most noticeable was the decor of the apartment with so much attention to detail...we felt like we were in a rainforest!

My family and I stayed here after going to the Redwoods and it was fantastic! Absolutely adorable! My daughter loved the magic mushroom decor! Very clean and easy to get to.

Jamie and Arthur are superb hosts. They took all steps to ensure we were comfortable and surprised us with extra care items, such as lighting a fire in their fire ring and providing s’mores makings! The living space is decorated with loving care with lots of elbow room. The kitchen had everything we needed. The environment is restorative. The nearby Redwoods were a destination for us but we also discovered the magnificent night skies of Crescent City with the Milky Way popping and, at sunset, the breathtaking seascape.

This property is absolutely magical! I can tell the owner put so much love into creating such a relaxing space. Her creativity did not go unnoticed. My only regret is that I only stayed one night. If you're passing thru or looking for a place close to the Redwoods, look no further.

A stay in a magical forest!

The place was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by enchanting redwood trees that truly made it feel like a fairy tale setting. The petite guest space, with its own private entrance, had everything we needed for a short stay. The beds were clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The bathroom was spotless.While the kitchen didn’t have a full conventional stove, it did include a smaller version that allowed us to cook with no issues. In fact, the kitchen was otherwise well-equipped with modern, high-tech appliances—perfect for preparing a variety of meals.The highlight, though, was the whimsical decor both inside and out. It gave the whole place a storybook feel, as if we had been magically transported into the heart of the forest. A truly unique and memorable stay!

This is a very cute apartment with lots of fun design details and a workable kitchenette. Short walk to a wonderful river swimming spot and lots of great activities within a half hour drive. Comfortably accommodates 4 with 2 people per bed. It's a tight squeeze if you need the air mattress. The only bathroom is in the bedroom, which means limited privacy for a bigger group. This is a busy rural property with lots of people and animals (including a rooster) onsite. If you are hoping for a quiet getaway sleeping late, cooking family style meals, and enjoying a lot of privacy on the property, keep shopping. If you need a charming place to crash in close proximity to loads of fun outdoor activities, this is just the spot.

Fairy house

The attention is in the detail here. Everything was lovely, including the host who was attentive and accommodating. This is a perfect place to get away for a couple of days near one of the prettiest rivers and scenic ocean views. Would definitely stay again.
