The popular GATED Buck Mountain community offers miles of private hiking trails, a waterfall, & a fully stocked catch and release community fishing pond! Short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Blue Ridge Pkwy.

The space
Inside the home you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The main bedroom has a king size bed, nightstands with individual lights and a 32” TV. The upstairs loft is perfect for the little members of the family with an outdoor theme and two queen beds. It also has a play tent and a 32” TV. The house can sleep 6 persons comfortably (overflow sleeping is possible). Guests can enjoy the open living room with a gas fireplace, a 65” large flat-screen Smart TV’s with live Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and more. The internet is reliable fiber and lightning fast! Enjoy 100 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download speed. Work from the cabin if you need to!

Aside from great TV options, we hope you have come to enjoy the great outdoors and fabulous views. The upstairs porch has comfortable rocking chairs, a high-top table, and chairs with a lighted umbrella. There is a gas grill for cooking out for your relaxation and enjoyment. There are private walkways to explore as well as a nature path in the woods throughout the neighborhood. The fire pit is an amazing place to hang out together.

The kitchen has been outfitted with every necessary appliance and convenience. A combination coffee maker is available for filter coffee or K-pods. Every item is here to make your stay comfortable.

Guests have access to a full living area and loft. Basement access is limited to laundry use only.

The driveway is gravel, but flat. The house is easily accessible, but a 4-wheel drive vehicle would be preferable during the winter. The driveway is gravel.

The home is about 30 minutes from downtown Boone, West Jefferson, and Wilkesboro, About 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 45 minutes to Blowing Rock and Tweetsie Railroad.

*Note: on top of our usual thorough cleaning in between every group of guests, we are now disinfecting all frequently touched things such as light switches, door knobs, etc. We always wash all laundry between guests, clean all bathrooms with disinfectants, wipe down all kitchen areas with disinfectants, and vacuum and steam mop all floors.
