Perfectly designed for both relaxation and family gatherings, this spacious retreat offers a large, fully-equipped kitchen with a stunning island—ideal for preparing meals or enjoying casual conversations. The adjoining dining table provides the perfect spot for shared meals, whether it's a cozy breakfast or a festive dinner.
The living room is a true highlight, featuring large, comfortable couches where you can unwind after a day of exploration. Whether you're watching your favorite movie or simply relaxing with family, this space is perfect for making memories.
For added convenience, you'll find a full-sized washer and dryer, allowing you to keep your clothes fresh during your stay. With plenty of space, modern amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, this home is the perfect destination for your next vacation!

> Quiet hours are enforced from 9 pm-9 am

we were missing a few kitchen items that I needed such as: serving bowls, a better spatula and a measuring cup.All the rooms were clean and nice just like the pictures; especially liked the master bathroom. The only thing we would have liked to have been a little closer to Galveston; but on the other hand, it was nice and quiet time of year to be right where we were!

The home was very nice and perfect for a family. There are a few general maintenance items that could be taken care of such as nails sticking up from the deck boards (at least 15 that were 1/2 to 1" sticking up), return air vents very dusty, and transition trim from master bedroom to bathroom missing. The A/C was not working when we checked in, but the maintenance company had someone out to fix it within an hour of us calling. Just a note: there are pretty much zero amenities provided aside from towels. We had a single use bottle of shampoo and conditioner and a tiny bar of soap, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher tabs and 2 laundry pods for a family for an entire week. We ran to dollar general and grabbed what we needed, so it wasn't a big deal. Just a heads up to pack your own or be prepared to purchase.

Clean, Quiet, and Close to Everything!

We spent a week at this lovely beach house and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I especially appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, yet still close enough for a short drive to the Strand, restaurants, and other attractions.One of the highlights was the easy walk to the beach. We loved starting our mornings drinking coffee on the porch with the lovely breeze and winding down our evenings by the water, it was serene and beautiful. Wifi could support all of our devices without lagging and never had any interruptions.The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only small suggestion I’d make is to consider sending a list of things to bring or adding a few board games or outdoor games for guests to enjoy during downtime. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

The house was a nice property with potential. My main complaint was with the management of the property. Upon arrival and after unloading we started to make dinner and noticed that some of the silverware pieces and bowls had dried food and the plates had a slightly greasy film so we had to wash the dishes. We also found when turning down the master bed that the sheets were dirty with hair and unidentified crud under the top sheet which is quite gross. Luckily we had brought a spare set of sheets and pillow cases. The next day a smoke alarm in the garage started chirping. Another message to Porter management. They did not have access to the garage so it took three days and a door lock replacement to get access to replace the battery. Quite annoying to sit on the porch and have to listen to that. The Internet was also quite slow which gets old over a week. Finally the listing offered early check in if available. I inquired about checking in 30 minutes early and was told sore, for 60 dollars. I passed. Cooking utensils and cookware is limited so be aware. But as stated above I liked the property outside of the issues mentioned but this was the only VRBO stay out of 5 in this neighborhood that I had anywhere near this level of issues.

Very spacious and clean. Only issue was the smoke detector in the downstairs garage but we called management and they sent someone out to fix it while we went into town. Very quiet peaceful neighborhood.

This place is perfect for family vacations. The house was well equipped, well maintained and very clean. The beach view is nice, and the walk to the beach is very short. Highly recommend.
