Réveillez-vous sur la falaise au-dessus de la piscine célèbre Barton Springs avec un pot de café gastronomique presse française et un jus bio - vous pouvez marcher pour une baignade ou une aventure sur Town Lake, ou faire du jogging la ceinture verte à seulement une minute de votre porte . Et Kayaks Canoës à louer à 3 minutes en bas de la colline de votre porte. Choisissez parmi de nombreux restaurants, cafés ou le magnifique bar Daily Juice, à quelques minutes de marche dans un quartier sûr et tranquille; ou, vous pouvez faire votre propre à la salle de bambou Apt. Il y a un patio sur le côté. L'appartement est aménagé pour deux et peut accueillir 3 personnes.

La promenade à Barton Springs a une option pour aller dans les bois à côté du jardin Sculpture Umlauf, sur un sentier rocheux, qui est littéralement un « chemin de bois » directement dans les piscines alimentés par des sources autour de laquelle les Amérindiens installés depuis des millénaires - maintenant âme d'Austin - de se baigner dans la guérison, l'eau source d'eau minérale bouillonne dans une immense piscine et chute d'eau, les populations raison s'y sont installés et a tiré le règlement Austin qui est devenu le cœur du Texas - mettre une serviette autour du cou et à pied vers le bas à travers » les bois pour l'expérience.

Cet appartement confortable est perché sur une falaise au-dessus de l'entrée du parc Zilker, du site d'Austin City Limits Live Music Fest ... et du restaurant Row avec le restaurant signature d'Austin, Chuy's, servant des plats de luxe Tex-Mex , The Shady Grove, ou Austin Java, Uncle Billy's, Juliette Ristorante et de l'autre côté du Kava Bar and Juiceland avec l'un des deux parcs à roulottes, à deux pas de Restaurant Row, à quelques pas d'une colline boisée. Nous aimons dire: « Vous êtes à 5 minutes de « Austin tout » ... » et il est littéralement vrai. Vous pouvez être dans votre siège au théâtre Paramount en 10 minutes à pied ou Whole World Foods Hdqtrs, fondée ici, et à quelques pas, sur un pont alimentaire, sur South Lamar. Pratique de marche de tous les lieux de SXSW ... Et ACL en direct dans Zilker Park est notre voisin immédiat, à moins de cinq (5) minutes à pied de l'entrée unique du lieu

Mother Daughter Nature Trip

Great place! Very private/ quiet and close to everything.

Gracious, welcoming hosts. Everything was supplied in abundance. Seemed like a very safe neighbourhood. Very close to excellent food, wonderful parks, and other city amenities. Also just a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown Austin with all its culture and nightlife at your fingertips.

Great place to stay in an awesome city

The location of the Bamboo room is perfect—the Barton Springs pool was absolutely a highlight of the trip. I recommend renting bikes, biking to the neighborhood you want to explore, and then set out on foot. The hosts had great recommendations for restaurants and clubs. Overall, the trip was fantastic. We stayed for four days and could have used at least two more to see everything we wanted to.

Great location

I was here as a solo traveler, and this property is a perfect size for one. It is quite small, but since you’re only there to sleep, that’s not a huge problem. The location is terrific...near bus lines, a gorgeous park, some great restaurants and shops.

South Austin

Quirky , enchanting home with lots of character. Close to EVERYthing in South Austin. Easy access by walking or bike to everything to do in the area. Will definitely come back again.

Was more perfect than could have been imagined!

Honestly was in a great location super close to Barton Springs, Chuy's, and The Picnic -Food Trucks. Herb the host's recommendations were spot on including Elizabeth's Street Cafe for Brunch and The White Horse for evening Entertainment. And seriously you can't bet the quite of the neighborhood in the middle of Austin. Last but not least... The Coffee the Host's provided for morning coffee seriously wish I could get is delivered to my real house every morning.

Bamboo Hideaway

Loved my stay at the Bamboo Hideaway! Herb and Valentina are so warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were a part of their family. It is a cute, clean little place with everything we needed. Beds were comfy, cable TV, internet, and good coffee! Very quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. Will stay here every time I’m in Austin.

Great stay-fantastic hosts!

Herb and Valentina are the consummate hosts. From thoughtful touches like the French press, almond milk and great coffee (felt just like home 😊) to perfect communication and awesome recommendations on the “off menu” items at local restaurants, they made my stay easy and enjoyable. The apt is cozy, but well-appointed, and ultimately super-comfy. The neighborhood is beautiful, and an easy walk through Zilker park to offices on Mopac if desired. Tons of amazing restaurants close by- highly recommend Chuy’s, Uchi and Odd Duck. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location for ACL

we came to Austin for ACL and wanted a location that we could walk to easily and this is the perfect spot. 5 minute walk to front entrance and several restaurants and Food Trucks as well. Our host Herb really made us feel at home, we came in from Florida and didn't expect a sudden 40 degree drop in temperature our 1st night here and had no long sleeve shirts or jackets. Herb brought over clothes to save the day! Among other things he really made our stay perfect.

The Bamboo Room is just right!

The Bamboo room is a great location, close to Zilker Park, and is really nicely furnished with everything that you need for your visit. It is very small, but for me, that was nice too. It's a little hard to find, but the property managers were always very helpful.

I went to Austin to see my mother in Lakeway. My host switched my accommodations when it turned out the first space had actually already been reserved, to a bigger space. Everything, the house, the host, the neighborhood, were all lovely. The place was quiet and private, the host, flexible and helpful, just what I needed, especially when I checked out and was in a hurry to get to my plane. Thumbs up!

Amazing town, location, and host

Herb is the property manager and he and his wife Valentina were so amazing. They made the whole process easy ( it was our first VRBO experience). They provided amazing coffee and went and got the creamer of our choosing before we arrived. They provided us with great local information such as restaurants. It was a very carefree relaxing get away.

Best stay we have had in Austin

Absolutely loved this place. Its not big , but was perfect for me and my wife. We walked to Zilker park and Barton Springs pool. Had a ton of restaurants very close. We are definitely coming back.

If you like hotels and related amenities, don’t stay here (nothing wrong with that). If you want the Austin experience, somewhere quiet in a great neighborhood, great hosts, covered free parking, amazing location, all the comforts of home... on & on.... this is your place. Perfect for couples, but a studio upstairs bed can sleep a guest/kid. Walking distance from the original Chuy’s, just steps further to Barton Springs... and Herb is awesomeness.
