Welcome to Deer Creek Retreat in Old La Sal! Enjoy breathtaking views of the La Sal Mountains from this brand new 3 bedroom home. Located in Old La Sal, we are the perfect mountain setting for your outdoor adventures! Our home features an open floor plan with space to relax and recharge. We're centrally located 25 minutes from downtown Moab, 30 minutes to Arches National Park, 50 minutes to Canyonlands National Park/Dead Horse Point & 2 hours from Telluride, CO.

The Space:

This property is a dream destination for both the travelers who enjoy staying on-site to relax and experience the amenities, and the travelers always on the go wanting to explore Moab’s rock formations, hiking trails, river rafting, mountain climbing, and off-roading.

Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large full stocked kitchen and open living area. The outside also has several seating areas to take in the sunrise/sunset and gather outside for a meal & bbq. The master bedroom has a king size bed complete with a large rain shower and double vanities ensuite. Two additional bedrooms (1 queen bed & 2 twin beds) share a common bathroom located in the hallway just off the main living space. The house is also stocked with a full size washer and dryer, walk in pantry and upgraded appliances.

Place was wonderful! Quiet and tucked away in out in the country. Host provided lots of extra kitchen and laundry amenities that really went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Green Alpine Retreat

New, clean, mountain retreat with deer in the yard greeting us on arrival. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, roomy home. Excellent access to both the 4x4 trails near Moab and the La Sals. Cool temperatures due to the altitude. Amazing stay!

The house was very clean and so lovely. We had 2 truck and trailers to park, and ample space for our side by sides. The house was very comfortable.I would say, for the female visitors, we could use more towels, but everything was suppled as described in the vrbo app.Many days, we rode off right from the house to the trails.Would defintly stay here again.

Perfect Location & Wonderful Space

We chose this cabin for the remote location & higher elevation, but also its proximity to the La Sal Mountains/Forrest, Canyonlands-Needles, Telluride & Arches/CL-Islands and it did not disappoint! We are a family of 3 adults visiting the area for day hiking & exploring. The cabin is about 40 min. from Moab, so be prepared to stock up on anything you need before you check in. There is a little convenience store in La Sal to pick up some odds/ends, treats, ice & I believe a gas pump too. Super friendly & helpful. The cabin has a large walk-in pantry for all your food storage & plenty of fridge space. The living space was newer build/design as pictured, very comfortable and roomy. Beds were comfy & living/kitchen space had plenty of counter/table/seating space along with 2 full baths & full laundry. The outdoor patio was nice at the end of the day, very quiet/peaceful with shade from the cabin, cooler temps due to the elevation with lots of deer & some other critters strolling through. If you are looking for dark at night, this is the place! I cannot say enough about Jeff from Utah Escapes! He answered questions during booking & reached out via text prior to our arrival to greet & provide us with check-in information & answer questions. During our stay we had no reason to reach out to him or the after hours number except when we needed to leave sooner than planned & he responded immediately with information & guidance! Thank you so much Jeff!

Place was well cared for and clean. Texted were sent to see if we checked in ok. Woke up to deer about 20 yards away, so very peaceful and quiet. I wish we could of spent more time exploring the area nearby, but we spent all of our time with family exploring other areas.
