Beautiful location, fabulous sunsets with deer and cows roaming nearby! Convenient kitchen and laundry facilities and comfortable bed - was a great stay, wish I could have stayed longer! It is a bit of a drive from Moab, but peaceful and worth it.

This cabin let's you get out of the heat of the desert and into the mountains. The views are amazing and the cabin is wonderful. This will be the only place I stay while in Moab from now on.

Easily one of our all-time favorite rentals. We loved the cabin's positioning in the mountains, not minding at all the 25 minute drive into town. The views we gorgeous in every direction. Couldn't have asked for more.

!st time Moab visit

The property had amazing views of the La Sal Mountains. Once you arrive, you are quickly greeted by a bunch of roaming cows. The inside is just as advertised and perfect for 3 adults with 2 dogs who could potentially be barking. I had a wonderful time and definitely would recommended staying here.

Best views around

The cabin was further out of town than we thought, but it was worth it. The views were stunning to wake up to each day. The cabin was just the right size for our 5-person family. The stars at night were beyond compare. The drive up and down could be a little scary at night, but it was worth it to have a place like that to stay. The Vista cabin was part of the reason our vacation was so amazing!

Awesome stay!

This little cabin was totally perfect for our weekend in Moab! The views were spectacular, the location was nice and cool which was perfect after a hot day in the red rocks. The cabin itself was surprisingly spacious despite being one room and the amenities were awesome. If you want a beautiful escape in the mountains, this is absolutely it. Only slight gripe is the beds were not comfortable unfortunately. But overall this was such an incredible stay, we likely will book again!

There were know surprises from the listing to the actual property. The kitchen was fully stocked for your cooking needs. The cabin was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet nights on the patio and the one clear night we had was amazing for star gazing!

Cabin above the clouds

My husband and I, and our two dogs had the best time during our stay for our 14 year anniversary. The winter views were amazing! The cabin felt secluded and cozy. We loved the awning that kept the snow away from the house. We even had deer looking through the sliding glass doors! The best part was the high location took us above the fog/clouds where we enjoyed some much needed winter sunshine. We will definitely be back!

Great place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing! Very nice cabin up away from Moab. We enjoyed it being a little cooler at night and loved having the cows around. The sun showing off the cliffs to the west in the morning was a wonderful background for a cup of coffee in the morning and the sunset in the evening was spectacular with a cocktail. Once the sun retreated the sky lit up with the stars as we were far enough away from the Moab lights. Very clean and all the amenities needed to cook your own meals. Definitely recommend this place to stay at if you're in the Moab area!

LaSal Mountain/Moab paradise

Vista cabin is beautiful with amazing views from high up in the LaSal Mountains. The decor and amenities were fabulous. The host and Evolve Rentals were very accommodating. The drive from the cabin down to Moab would normally be only about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the road was under construction and there was no access to the short way up between 8:30AM and 5:30 PM (you could access it from the long way around, but that added an hour to the trip.) The road work should be done in the near future, so it should not be a problem going forward. I wish I had be forewarned about the road closure problem before I made the booking and the trip, but to be totally fair the owner did tell me when I was at the cabin that they were originally told the work would be done by the end of July and they did not anticipate it being a problem in August. With planning my day out in advance I was able to manage, but it would have been nice to have some time to relax at the cabin during the day and not have to worry about getting to town. Overall, I would have given 6-stars for this beautiful property, but due to the roadwork inconvenience, I give it a 4.5 stars.

Not our Favorite

We have stayed in several VRBO homes, and we have never had to leave a bad review. But this house, in our opinion, does not meet VRBO standards. It started off with a punctured tire after hitting one of the many potholes on the long remote road up to the house. Thankfully we had a run flat tire, so we proceeded up to the house as planned. Our plan was to contact a tire repair shop when we arrived at the Studio. But when we arrived we were harassed by a very large dog that lives in another unit on the property. It circled our car barking at us then jumped up and scratched the driver side door...three times! The scratches are deep and will require repair. When we finally got into the studio we discovered neither the cell service or internet worked in that remote area. We attempted to log into the internet several times on several accounts, but it would not connect. Without the ability to contact a tire shop we had to drive all the way back into town on the run flat tire. At this point we rented a hotel room instead. We didn't want to return to encounter the dog again and get more scratches on our car. When I contacted the management company asking them to contact the owner and explain our situation (and ask for a refund) we were ignored. Save yourself the headache and rent something else.

Hi Janice, we're sorry to hear that you did not get to enjoy this beautiful property. We followed up with the homeowner, who let us know that she was not made aware of any issues until the next day, but she wishes you had contacted her right away. She assured us that the fiberoptic internet works well, though she would have been happy to help you troubleshoot if necessary. Cell service is not an issue for most guests though it is a remote location, as can been seen in the listing. We apologize for your frustrations, but we are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy exceptional stays here!

Property as advertised

The cabin is as advertsied, it was clean, and quiet; a very tranquill and restful setting outside of Moab. A nice fully equiped kitchen and a great back patio. Due to a storm we briefly lost power but the owner/host Beth stopped by immediately to let us know and make sure everything was okay, it was a nice follow-up. Other than that, we saw only birds and some cows, yup open range in this part of Utah means open range! If you want a very nice, quiet and restful place while in Moab, stay here it was convenient to town, Arches NP and Canyonlands NP.

Wonderful cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vista cabin. The views of the La Sal mountains can’t be beat! We had all the amenities we needed (great WiFi, well supplied kitchen, grill, washer & dryer, AC, etc…) while still feeling remote and away from the city. So peaceful and relaxing. We spent a lot of time outside under the covered porch that wraps around the entire cabin. Temps were much cooler at the cabin’s elevation than in Moab proper. Perfect cabin for our family vacation!

Loved it

It was so refreshing to come back to this place in the mountains after fighting the heat in Moab. The place was clean and everything we needed was provided by the host. The view was spectacular. Not only did you have the mountains to the left, but you had basically the entire Moab valley to your right. It’s a little bit of a drive from Moab, but I actually prefer to be away from the tourist chaos going on there and other places.
