This was a beautiful cabin and very secluded. There is wildlife everywhere and you can watch the animals from the hot tub. Close to Athens Ohio so if you need to go to town it’s within 10 minutes. We had a blast!

A lovely cabin. Very clean. Relaxing. Private. We had what we needed. Well… decaf coffee pods would have been nice, but coffee pods were provided so can’t complain. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend. Cabin was small but clean and nice. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside amenities. You can hear everything from both bedrooms but to be expected with the small space. Distance to OU is less than 15 minutes, which was wonderful. Overall, great rental for OU visit. Would rent again.

We werent planning on going to hocking hills and athens, but we used warmroad.com to find a location with the weather we wanted. The location of this cabin is excellent. Reasonable driving distance from hocking trails like old man's cave and dining options like Frida's in Athens. Cabin was clean, hot tub was great. Smooth self check in. Will stay again if we get the chance.

A sweet, charming cabin in the woods with all the best of mother nature is the setting for a perfect peaceful get away. The cabin was spotless and has everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay. It is nestled in a secluded wooded area yet just minutes from Hwy 33 for trips into Athens, state parks, restaurants. There is a movie theater near by as well. This is definitely a wonderful place and cabin that we hope to visit again!

This was a great little cabin to stay while attending OU event. Very pretty setting and easy to get into Athens. Do bring your own shampoo etc as the dispenser in shower didn’t look great but rest of cabin was fine. Would stay again for sure.

Amazing getaway

Cabin was perfect! Exactly as listed and as soon as you walked in I instantly relaxed and felt cozy. Very clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. The cabin was back off the road so it's very peaceful and quiet. When we did need anything, it wasn't too far out either. Great weekend and great host! Definitely recommend!!

My husband and I needed a little get away and we flee to a cabin in the woods whenever we can….. this was a great location and pretty private, in the summer it would be completely private with foliage, in January it was still good, just a few houses in the far distance. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Plenty of space and cozy at the same time. We spent the days doing puzzles, reading books and watching movies. We were a bit disappointed the fireplace wasn’t in service as it was January and snowy so we wanted to have a fire but we stayed perfectly safe and warm by dipping in the hot tub to watch the deer every day in the fields around the cabin. We love cooking and the kitchen was stocked well and we were able to enjoy some great meals. We really enjoyed our stay and recommended this place to anyone need a private getaway.

Excellent Cabin and Host

Clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Great location for our stay for OU's graduation. Shawn was an excellent host; providing quick and helpful responses. We enjoyed an evening around the fire pit, seeing deer in the mornings, and observing several varieties of birds that we don't have at home. This property changed hands after we had the reservation made. Shawn honored the existing reservation and we had no issues. Thanks for helping us have wonderful memories.

Immaculate, peaceful, great location. Enough can’t be said about how amazing our stay was. The beds were extremely comfortable with quality linens, great water pressure, thick and good quality towels. Being able to use the fire pit was nice and our girls loved making s’mores. Highly recommend. Close enough to enjoy what Athens has to offer without the noise and traffic of being down town.
