Fairy House - two bedroom cabin on a peaceful farm

Fairy House at Morning Dew Hop Farm is a comfortable two-bedroom dwelling with kitchen, living room, and front and back decks. The bathroom is split into two half baths: one with toilet and sink and the other with shower, sink, and washer & dryer. WiFi is included with your stay and there is a flat screen TV in the living room. The kitchen features a full-size fridge with freezer, a four-burner range, a toaster oven, coffeemaker, and on the deck, a gas grill (propane is provided.) The hot tub is SHARED between the two properties.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was amazing, the hot tub was great especially after hiking all day. Loved how secluded and relaxing it was and how much the property offered. Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying out that way! We would definitely love to come back for all of our future hiking trips there!

Staying here is just close enough to Athens and just far away enough from everything. Lovely quiet space, pet friendly. It's our second time here and we will go back.

Peaceful and Cozy

We love the fairy house! It’s so peaceful at night, and the cabin has everything we need to stay for a few days. Steve was a wonderful host and I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a private getaway in a cozy setting!

OU Moms Weekend

I reserved this place to be closer to Athens for OU Moms Weekend. It was a bit further than I wanted and more remote than I expected. It would’ve been better for a couples weekend or a girls trip.

The house/property is secluded and peaceful. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings drinking coffee. However, the house is in need of thorough cleaning and upgrading. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bedrooms quite small. The shower is very small, difficult to use, and in a separate room from the toilet. The kitchen is poorly lit so cooking properly was challenging. The listing is misleading as the hot tub and sauna are shared with guests in other houses and not private. The sauna is an extra fee as well. The host was pleasant and responsive when we needed extra supplies.

A divine retreat away

My family had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was peaceful, searing, and just simply splendid to spend the time there: Steve the owner was exceptionally helpful and thoughtful and extremely kind. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful retreat. There’s a hot tub, Sauna and a salt room to try out. Also 23 acres to explore me and my family would love to go back soon.

Customer service

Unexpectedly, our property had a hornet/wasp issue at check in which was after midnight when we arrived. Steve went above and beyond to assist us with the issue. He even put us in another cabin for the night. He was also gracious enough to refund us for part of our stay.

If you want natural beauty

The place was on a beautiful property with the fall leaves coming down. The house needs cleaning and new beds with a new couch in the living room. The main place where the hot tub (free), salt room ( Not Free),sauna (Free?) and bath tubes for 2 was amazing. Just wish more information was given on usage before on additional prices to use. If more details would be given, cleaned and updated beds we would most definitely stay next year. If not, it was worth the beautiful fall experience.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The quiet rural setting makes this the perfect spot for getting away from it all. Morning Dew Hop Farm also offers a hot tub, centrally located and available for the use of all guests at no extra charge, as well as a Himalayan salt cave and a wood-fired sauna (ask your host for rates.) Both cabins have a gas grill (propane is provided) and there's a fire pit for use by all guests. Cell service is extremely weak but both cabins include free WiFi. Snuggle up and watch a movie, enjoy a beautiful view of the stars, or explore our 23 acres of woods and farmland.
