Everything was perfect and it was great to be able to go to the street fair this weekend on top of the tulip fields! The host was very communicative and helpful with instructions and all the things. Lots of good shops and places to walk around. I hope we come back sometime :)

So glad that you had such a good time. We also have a lot of things that go on through the summer including the Art Festival in Anacortes in August, which usually dwarfs the Tulip Festival Street Fair. The proximity to the San Juan Islands and North Cascade National Park is also a big draw for my guests. In other words, you are welcome back anytime!

Great spot for easy access to North Cascades. Parking spot is doable for a 4-door Jeep Wrangler. Host was helpful and responsive.

This fantastic home base for us between North Cascades hikes and the Anacortes ferry. The location is hard to beat: highly walkable to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores, so we barely needed the car once we settled in. The unit was spotless when we arrived, and the little touch of waffle mix and a waffle iron for breakfast was a nice surprise. Our host, Leeann, was incredibly friendly and communicated well through Vrbo messages (both before and during our stay), which made everything easy from start to finish. Two very minor notes for future guests: the window AC unit can struggle to keep up on hot days, though that's likely a non-issue most of the year. The parking space is also a bit tight if you're driving a larger SUV, but we made it work without problems, and there's additional parking available downtown if needed. None of that took away from the stay. Cleanliness, location, pricing, and the overall experience were excellent, and we'd happily book again.

Fabulous host for this delightful well appointed apartment in the heart of Mount Vernon. She went above and beyond with fresh homemade bread and jams. We could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this property!

Hidden Gem

The place is down an alley, blink and you could miss it. But the inside is cozy and has everything you need. We felt a little spoiled by the treats our host had for us. Easy access to the main drag of town. Very comfortable bed. The business downstairs was no disturbance at all.

Riverclay Studio was cozy, clean, and well equipped. It's a great spot for enjoying Mt. Vernon - a couple minutes walk to the Farmer's Market, the Co-op, and other great downtown spots. The host was communicative and check-in easy. The dehumidifier is a bit noisy but the host left instructions for turning it off. Heard some activity from the store below but not during nighttime hours. As another reviewer said, parking is a bit tight and coming in from the other end of the alley allowed backing into the spot.

Charming, cozy yet spacious space in which the owner has thoughtfully provided everything to make our stay enjoyable. The location is walking distance to many things (Skagit Valley Co-Op was awesome!), but was very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. It is also a short drive to Clear Lake Park which we enjoyed immensely. The A/C kept us nice and cool during our warm stay. The bed wasn't as firm as I prefer, but my partner loved it. The designated parking was a little tight for a Toyota Camry, but do-able. There were other parking options around if you have a larger vehicle. Even though it's a studio apartment, it was perfect for a couple, and we could have easily stayed there for a week or more.Great property, thoughtful owners. Highly recommended.

Adorable little studio

We loved staying here while we were visiting family. Leeann and Marilyn have thought of everything. The studio was clean, cozy, and although there are only windows on one wall, the space was well lit and romantic. We appreciated the extra touches the hosts offered, like chocolate by the bed and pain au chocolate in a basket on the counter. We slept SO well - the bed was nice and firm and there were plenty of fans and an AC that kept the place at the perfect temp. Our only issue was figuring out how to get our Outback to fit in the parking spot in the back alley. Our recommendation is to come in from Myrtle and back in rather than entering on Gates. If you come in on Gates you won’t be able to park straight unless you have a tiny car. We will definitely book again on our next trip!

This beautiful listening exactly what I was looking for. Not only is it beautiful, located in the heart of mount vernon, its secret located makes it a quiet place. The inside decore, lights, kitchen appliances made me feel at home. He hostess was a great communicator. Let's not forget the homemade bread :) I would recommend staying here.

What an enchanting space! Imbued with an artist’s touch, it is both home-y and vibrant. Everything you need is graciously provided by the host. The apartment is walking distance to shops and restaurants. (Highly recommend Afternoon Tea at White Branches, which is a cabaret theater by night!)Many thanks to Leeann for the homemade bread and jam and a generous assortment of coffees and teas.
