This sweet studio in Mount Vernon has everything you need to be comfortable.
It features a new queen bed plus comfortable seating for you, guests and your dog. With WiFi, heating, and AC, you can stay connected and comfortable throughout your stay. The bar has a microwave, coffee maker and hot water pot, plus an small refrigerator with freezer. Of course, it's fully equipped with flatware, dishes, cups and glassware and the other things you need for breakfast and snack preparation.
The bathroom is equipped with all the essentials you need, but there is no tub.
A private patio is all yours, plus a fully fenced yard for your pooch and a propane bbq.

You'll be 5 minutes from downtown Mount Vernon, a few blocks from the regional hospital, 4 minutes from Little Mountain Park and hiking trails. Plus all of the Skagit Valley stretches before you, tulips, beaches, restaurants, shopping, all just minutes away.

I was born and raised in Seattle, but left the Northwest to travel and then built a life in California. Now that my kids are grown, I'm back in Washington. My family has all migrated north to the Skagit Valley, so this is where I've settled. I love it here and also love the opportunity to introduce others to its beauty and energy.
Since we're a doggy bunch, I'm happy that I can host travelers with dogs, particularly since we have a large fenced yard with access right from our cozy studio.

The south side of Mount Vernon is quiet and peaceful. We have easy access to I5 and downtown, but we're away from the bustle of the commercial areas. It's a great spot to use as a home base for exploring the Skagit and surrounding areas.

Our brand new cozy guest suite was designed to anticipate the needs of people staying there. Lamps over the beds have switches just inches from your hand, plus outlets for phones. A brand new mini-split HVAC system means you'll never be too hot, or too chilly. You have your own private deck, fenced from the street to enjoy morning coffee or wine in the afternoon. And it has access to the secure side yard so your dog can come and go while you relax. The kitchenette isn't intended for real cooking, but with a microwave, electric kettle, toaster and fridge, you have everything you need for breakfast, snacks and light meals.
