Fantastic stay

We loved staying at Mermaid Manor. It is spacious and comfortable, fitting four adults with ease. The house is stocked with everything you’d need in terms of the kitchen, bathrooms, linens and beach gear. Communication with the property manager was great throughout. And the views from the back porch are unbelievable. We look forward to returning!

The kitchen was more well equipped than ours at home. The beds and all furniture was comfortable and the porch was all that was advertised, we spent most of our time out there. The brand new Ac made it easy to sleep at night and the breezes kept the house cool during the day after we turned it off and opened up the house. I recommend you bring your own streaming device as cable choices are not great, but the internet was really good at one point we had three different Zoom meetings running. The host was great and when one of the beach chairs broke she had two more there the same day. We really enjoyed the location too Russell island is much quieter than SW but the house is the first street across the bridge so still close to everything.

Lovely property

Been coming for years now. It’s the perfect place! My favorite parts are the view, open kitchen, and breezy porch area. Rebecca stayed in touch with us the entire time and helped set up transportation and golf carts.

A wonderful house in a wonderful place!

We were drawn in by the lovely porch overlooking the turquoise waters of Spanish Wells, and thoroughly enjoyed that every day. The ""Mermaid Manor" has the feel of a "home," not a rental, and that is a great plus. Its location on the island is great: a short walk to the beach, a five minute golf cart ride to the grocery store. We were glad for our too shor days there, and wished it could have been a lot longer.

The best family Bahamas experience!!

The house was perfect—incredible porch, amazing kitchen to cook and try new foods, especially fish! Easy and short walk to a secluded beach and didn’t have to worry about the kids at all! Sara, our point of contact was friendly, available and made sure our time in Spanish Wells was good. The only regret we had—we wish we would have planned to cook even more dinners in that wonderful kitchen! We will be back!

Great stay in Russels Island

This property is wonderful and in an excellent location. We were met at the dock by Rebecca who then allowed us to follow her vehicle in our rented golf cart to the property (5 min drive).The sandbar and beach, along with the channel (chest deep water, the rest is ankle-knee deep) are perfect for pure relaxation.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and restaurants are all within 5 mins by golf car.There were two couples in our party and we each had our own bedrooms and bathroom. The other two beds/bedroom didn't have much privacy, but that would work great with kids. Loved the view from the porch and the outdoor shower to rinse off when we got back from the beach. Would love to go back someday!

Mermaids Manor is a wonderful vacation home!

Rebecca was so helpful in arranging our taxi, water taxi, and golf cart. Her representative met my family at the dock, escorted them to the house, and showed them around. Mermaid Manor was comfortable, stylish, and homey. The kitchen was great- lots of supplies and every pot or pan you could want. The porch was a heavenly place to hang out and swing, and the beach was so much fun with starfish, a manatee visit, and even a tiny octopus. Spanish Wells and Russell Island are very special- we hope to return one day soon!

Perfect location with awesome views

Where do you start a review of a perfect property? The porch was one of the best assets of this amazing house. You'll never get tired of the view overlooking the ocean. And the ability to work on my computer, read a book or nap from three different sitting areas on the porch was wonderful. All the details are here for a great stay! Strong kitchen, a grill for that fresh local fish, a washer and dryer and more. The sitting area off the upper master is also worth mentioning and having a comfortable king bed is always a plus. Your host is very responsive and will make your stay wonderful from start to finish!!!

Beautiful house minutes away from the beach!

We brought both sets of parents and our children to stay at this house and it was perfect. The owner helped set up our taxi/ferry and golf cart rental and they were waiting for us when we arrived very late due to a delayed flight. When we arrived and departed we had helpers come to drive our luggage. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen in particular was perfect for us to cook in every day. Everything we needed for fun at the beach was available. We seriously had no issues but if we had I have no doubt someone would have responded to us immediately. Such a wonderful stay at a beautiful location in Russell Island/Spanish Wells area. We felt safe and everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous Spanish Wells Home

Fantastic property for a family rental. The house is very well maintained and the views of the ocean are incredible. Easy and close to beach access and all the other attractions and restaurants in Spanish Wells. Highly Recommended.

Beautiful grand house with an amazing view

Darrin is a great host, he arranged for us to be picked up at the airport. The house was very well situated and excellently equipped. Probably the best house on the island, with a to die for view.

Absolutely wonderful stay with breathtaking views!

This home is a dream! It is very well sized, clean and beautifully decorated. The ocean view is incredible from both the patio and upper balcony. We had 6 individuals stay at the home and we had more than enough space! The host is so accommodating and provides you with everything you would need for your stay! Definitely one of the top homes on the property! It’s located in Russell island which gives you so much peace and quiet while it’s a quick golf ride/bike over the bridge to everything you need! The beach is a 1 minute walk and is absolutely stunning! Could not have asked for a more perfect trip!
