Sweet little studio with easy access to the beach, less than 5min walk, and pool right in the back yard. Great spot to explore Destin, we'll be back!

Great beach escape

The property was easy to find and a short walk to the beach, a great bonus! The area had everything we needed and more. Our condo was decorated with a cute beachy design and was comfortable. We missed having a light to read in bed, but made the best of that. We plan to come back again.

Worked great for us

The unit was pretty well maintained. The pull out sofa bed needs reinforced since the end is not attached under the mattress. We had a nice time and it met our needs.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beds have springs poking through. Rust marks on the bedding. No supplies at all - go to the store and buy paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Their only saving grace, is the location to the beach, the pool, and the activities in Destin. We stayed at a different unit in the same condo a few years ago, and it was much nicer. If the owners invested a little money into this place it would be significantly better. Wont be staying at this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here a couple of times prior to this trip because we love the location. However, we came in one afternoon and the air conditioner was off. I went to the office and the guy in there said they were closing in 5 minutes and there was nothing he could do today. It’s July! Really? He said he would turn the order in next morning. Well, I went back got the air to come on miraculously. We never had anyone come check the air the next day. Back at the office late that day I questioned the guy and he finally told me he had not turned in the request for service but would do it now. The next day no one ever showed up. It went out again. We left a day early.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My daughter and I made a late decision to get away from Chicagoland and go to Florida. We had never been to the Destin area so we decided to give it a shot. We absolutely fell in LOVE! The bonus is that the location of our rented condo was perfect at Sandpiper Cove. It was still a bit cool but the heated pool was awesome. Love that it was a gated community, directly across the street/an easy walk from the beach, check in and check out were easy with no issues and the condo was the perfect size with everything we needed. Work is being done by the association to update roofs and decking on the properties but they made us aware of that at check in and there were no construction noises that bothered us. I would most definitely rent again!

Wiring needs to be redone. Not enough outlets. Tub is inexcusable and extremely dangerous. We will never rent this one again . Not enough cook ware and dishes . It’s too bad we had to spend $200.00 for equipment.

The condo is exactly like it was described! Perfectly clean and nicely decorated! Had everything we needed! Common areas were very clean! Easy walk to the beach! Perfect for kids! Loved it!
