Escape to the historical Grey Gables mansion a stunning queen Anne style home built in oops 1888.This wonderful 7-bedroom gem in Richford VT. This brilliant house boasts 4 queen beds, 2 full beds, and 3 twin beds, perfect for large groups or families. With 5 and a half bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, you'll never have to wait in line. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Richford. This retreat offers 19th century charm. With some modern upgrades, providing the perfect setting for family or friends getaway. Pets are allowed for $100 per pet with a maximin of 2. In the winter we are a short drive to ski Jay Peak and ice skating across the road in the park. In warmer weather Jay Peak has a water park. There are nearby, hiking and biking trails and also canoe and kayaking in the river across the road by the park.

We had an incredible stay here for our trip to Jay Peak over the winter. The property is beautiful, with plentiful space for guests and activities and it elevated our ski trip to a very memorable experience. Parking was easy, there are nice dining options in the town and the drive to Jay was very manageable. Great location, interesting history, lots of space and awesome value.

Beautiful large property, loads of space. Only thing was, there were a lot of Asian Lady Beetles, some of which were getting into bedding. Kitchen was large and well equipped.

Very cool and unique property. Nestled in a quiet beautiful area with skating across the street and fields to explore. House has plenty of room to relax and have a great time. Huge kitchen for big meals and a shower or tub for everyone! Not a bad drive to the mountain.

House is great and located right on river trail. Town is a block away. Family was in town for a wedding near by and we had a great time!Kitchen well stocked, great historical vibe and Jeffrey responded to all questions right away.

The house itself is a beautiful piece of history. The area in which it's located -- in Richford, Vermont, on the Missisqui River -- is interesting because it is also very steeped in history, going back to the early, Colonial era of French and English conflict, and including wilderness settlement and small-town New England's industrial development through America's first 150 years.The house is also very accommodating for large groups like ours, an extended family that stayed through a long weekend. With its many bedrooms, each with its own full bath and a Roku television, the house provides a lot of privacy for everyone, while also providing spacious and functional group areas that bring everyone together.During our stay, the property manager was always quick to respond and very helpful.

This is a spacious and beautiful house that accommodates 15 people. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. There is skating across the street and Jay Peak ski resort is a half hour drive. The house has ping pong and pool tables for entertainment. Bedding (including warm blankets) and towels are provided and are clean. It was very cold in Vermont during the three days we stayed (high temperatures of 10F) and the first floor was drafty, probably due to older but beautiful (glass stained) windows. The heating system was in good working condition and the bedrooms were warm. There were a few things that could be repaired. Our group of 14 people enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Jeffrey!

Fun group getaway

Walden VT 8th grade class of 2025 had a blast at Gray Gables. The host Jeffrey was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The house is an amazing window to the past and the kids had a great time exploring all its rooms, playing ping pong on the 3rd floor and pool in the billiard room. Some things were a little rough around the edges, but this is a 130 year old house and the character more than made up for it. It had everything we could want or need and we would highly recommend it.

Hosted a milestone birthday party here and had a blast. Everything we needed was available, a beautiful park across the street, and great communication with the hosts. A super unique location that we won’t forget!
